I'm looking for a cheap Gortex shell jacket parka. I know
some places have really good deals on things like
discontinued items--once I got some $250 Gortex pants
for about $35--but right now I'm not having any luck
Diesel Pro's & Con's28 Jul 2004 21:43 GMT126
Hi Gang,
I'm contemplating upgrading my tow vehicle from a '02 Dodge 1500 4.7Ltr to an '04 Dodge 2500 Turbo Diesel.
I tow a 23' TT that has a dry weight of 4300lbs.
I've never owned a diesel and none of my friends have either.

Hey, don't know if this is normal or if I have a problem with the generator.
When I run the genset I have a digital clock that gains time while the unit
is running. It keeps OK time on shore power. I had a guy tell me that it's
doing this because the generator is running too fast.

Has anyone rented an RV in Europe? Is it expensive? Do they have national or
state parks or must you stay in private campgrounds?

awning help needed28 Jul 2004 01:35 GMT6
Ok....I bent the awning...I told you all that last year.   And I lost
the battle over the "tilt is irrelevant since the fabric stretched
beyond practicality"  argument.
So..." they( a couple of service writers and some peers)" said, "you

For me it was when I bought my new Dodge Ram, I had to sell my old 94

Water Damage27 Jul 2004 22:12 GMT4
My wife and I went and looked at a used Bantam hybrid trailer (the beds fold
out of the hard shell).  There was some water damage to the front sleeping
area, the fabric was stained, the mattress was moldy.  Under the rear of the
trailer, the last underpanel had some blems that ...

Trip down nostalgia lane27 Jul 2004 17:58 GMT2
Cruising the web for kicks I ran into our old '84 Sunline
5th wheel at the same dealer we traded at for the '94 Award.
It looks like the one we had even down to the radio/cassette
player above the sofa. We had many enjoyable trips with this
What makes the noise in a Diesel27 Jul 2004 15:06 GMT13
I was told by a diesel mechanic that the clatter noise of the diesel was
made by the slamming closed of the injector valves.
What made them quieter was the advent of the electronic injector pump
installed at each injector. Requiring less pressure to open the injector
Duration of Odor Control27 Jul 2004 03:47 GMT4
How long, in a hot climate, can you go without dumping the black tank
before the odor control product stops working?
