anti-theft hitch coupler locks27 Jul 2004 02:56 GMT30
I've recently observed several travel trailers which had been left
parked along the highway without their tow vehicles.  This got me to
thinking about getting a coupler lock in the event I should ever be
forced to do this.  i.e. the truck becomes disabled and is towed off
Colorado Rockies travel27 Jul 2004 02:51 GMT17
I'm sitting here playing with my mapping programs trying to plan our trip out
west this early fall. What are the road conditions on  US 160 from I-25 to Mesa
Verde, and US 666 to US 191 and Arches National Park. Then, back south around
Glen Canyon to US 89 and on to Zion?

Previously "destroyed" military records found.26 Jul 2004 20:08 GMT9
President Bush's "inadvertently destroyed" national guard payroll records
appear to have miraculously been found just a few days before the
Democratic Convention.

First of all, thanks to those of you who gave me the
scoop on how to rent an RV -- I went to Leach's in
Council Bluffs Iowa yesterday and put a deposit down.
It was easy and they were very good to work with.

Truck Overloaded?26 Jul 2004 04:08 GMT4
I'm still doing my homework before we purchase a truck and trailer in a few
years, and stopped today to look at a used truck and trailer combination
that are both for sale, separately or together. They are both from 1999, a
34 foot Terry with 3 slides and a Dodge 3500 with Cummins ...

Need help with timing of Onan LK series engine.......25 Jul 2004 04:30 GMT1
I have a '72 Hawk with Onan LK generator. It has a type 1 ignition
box. The owners manual says to remove the cover and align the flywheel
with the 19 degree mark and at that point the points should just begin
to open.  Where should I find the timing marks and stationary mark? My

RV wreck on I-90 west24 Jul 2004 21:04 GMT3
Anyone see the trailer/Avalanche wreck on I-90 west bound in NY Fri.
16th?  I was going east bound somewhere between Rochester and Syracuse
I think when I saw it.  Looked like a fairly new rig, trailer was
still intact on its side and the Avalanche had the roof & windshield
How do you sell a diesel pusher ???24 Jul 2004 20:52 GMT5
My brother has a 2001 38' Holiday Rambler that he needs to sell.  It
is worth about $110K.  What is the best way for him to sell a unit
like this?  eBay seems to have a number of units at below market
prices but this is a clean low-mile unit and he wants to get a fair
? CD changer 24 Jul 2004 15:56 GMT25
Our RV came with a six-CD changer, but no instruction booklet.  Brand:
"Xtreme."  It's connected through the AM/FM/Cassette, has a wired remote

recently, but always has cured itself before I could shoot the ...
