Well, yesterday afternoon was very interesting, truly! Because an imminent drastic thunderstorm threatened, I left work a little early because I wanted to beat the storm's onset, which I did just barely. The winds were rather high and very gusty and the town's tornado sirens

We have a 29' MH with a ford V-10. Total weight is 16,450 lb. We would like to tow a small car with all wheels down. A Chevy Tracker had been recommended but when we checked FMCA site, it only could be towed for 200 miles without stopping and running the engine.

| Off Topic Posts | 16 Jul 2004 12:23 GMT | 59 |
Why don't all the off-topic posters take their off-topic posts somewhere else? I'm sure there are some great groups dedicated to political debates... Or maybe we need to start a group called rec.outdoors.rv-travel.off-topic? :-) Just seems like way too high of a

We are having our rainy season here in Las Vegas. High humidity. The two Coleman roof A/Cs on my coach are dripping water, and it is running off the roof. Is there a connector inside where I can run a runoff line out to the edge, or is this SOP for that A/C? Do I just pull the ...

| Mid-entry diesel pusher? | 16 Jul 2004 03:36 GMT | 9 |
Interested in a mid-entry pusher. Monaco and HR have such a model but not usually stocked by dealers. A gas example would be the 2005 Winnebago 38J. Any other mfgs out there that may have a similar floor plan in a pusher for 2005? Would also consider 2003/2004 models.

We have a small manually operated Carefree Of Colorado "case" type awning almost completely installed. At first we anticipated that positioning the awning rearmost gave the most usable outdoor space, since the door and it's open/close arc consumes much
