CFN Users16 Aug 2004 16:19 GMT2
Do any diesel pusher owners use CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) as they
travel?  How competitive are their prices to other truck stops?   We always
use trucks stops to buy our diesel fuel but have never used CFN stations.  A
Western WA oil company that is part of CFN is advertising ...

Hi to all:  I have been in contact with a broker who handles camping
resort resales.  I am hoping to get a Western Horizon membership with
AOR .  I told the broker that I am not particular as to the area that
the home park would be in.  Hopefully that will help get the best
Newbie Question On Living In An RV?15 Aug 2004 21:51 GMT28
I've never driven or stayed very long in an RV and I'd like so advice from
owners NOT dealers.
I may soon take a job in Flagstaff Arizona.  My wife will stay in our house
in Tucson and I'll commute on weekends.  I've been looking at housing and
Lopez Lake, CA15 Aug 2004 21:25 GMT5
Once upon a time I went up to Lopez Lake (Arroyo Grande, CA) on a
camping trip.  I was 11 years old at the time.  I remember it well,
because it was 1969 and I listened to the Apollo 11 landing on the radio
in the cab of the camper.  We stayed in the Squirrel Hollow portion of
Odd sights seen15 Aug 2004 18:47 GMT3
We just returned from a short trip and saw some, well, interesting rigs.

driven by a German couple. They had brought the rig over to use for
their tour of the USA.

icemaker, as it has no other way of adjusting the amount of water being
delivered to the icemaker.  Gave it (selenoid valve) the once over and
cleaned it up a little.  Cleaned the contact where the wires hooked ...

Schumacher smart charger update.15 Aug 2004 06:45 GMT1
The Schumacher smart charger is dead.  The blue smoke leaked out.
Today I bought 8 6 volt golf cart batteries to go in my electric car.  I was
giving them all a good equalizing charge before installation.  I was using
both the Schumacher and the Vector on a small generator, charging ...
