The ABC News Story10 Aug 2004 23:02 GMT48
Tonight on the 6:30 PM ABC News, they announced a retraction of the
story about Bing and the "Mafia man".  He is not a partner of Bing's
and he has not been convicted of murder.
Good Hong Kong Hostel (Budget & convenient)10 Aug 2004 22:45 GMT1
If you are looking for a good HOng Kong Hostel in Kowloon, you may
send me a message. I know many budget hostels in Hong Kong because I
frequently travel to Hong Kong.
I don't post it here because I don't want to advertise others. I just
D. C. to Brewster NY10 Aug 2004 21:42 GMT1
In October, after a few days in D. C. I need to drive up to Brewster NY,
just north of the "Big Apple" at Interstate 84 and 684, pulling a 26' TT
with a 2000 3/4 ton Suburban.
Do you have a recommendation of a way I should plan to go to reduce exposure
2 or 3-axle "toy-box" 5'ers10 Aug 2004 20:46 GMT1
Anybody here run a two or three axle fiver that has the "toy-box" layout?
I've been lookin' at 'em for some time now...and kinda wanted to hear from
folks that are using 'em.  With kids & grandkids we need to sleep at least
10.

which small camping trailer10 Aug 2004 18:59 GMT1
I'm looking for a small trailer with room or 1 or 2,
without toilet facility. I'm hoping for something
that is not priced exorbitantly: I am aware that some
retirees are willing to pay immodest sums for whatever
Octane10 Aug 2004 16:59 GMT63
The manual for my 03 GMC Safari van says to use 87 octane or higher.
That's 'regular' gas around here. But when I go West and up, 'regular'
becomes 85 octane. So, when I go West and up, can I use 85 octane? Why
or why not?
Ford fuel pump10 Aug 2004 16:51 GMT8
Perhaps I should post this on the Ford truck group, but it IS my motorhome!!
My 91 Southwind 29 footer is on a SuperDuty chassis (460).  About 2 years
ago I got stranded  in the middle on nowhere about 90 miles from Flagstaff,
AZ.  Had to be towed in, when the rig just died while ...

Please recommend any campgrounds in Florida10 Aug 2004 05:11 GMT10
I would be grateful for any recommendations for campgrounds in
Florida, for next  February. The Gulf area, west side, east side,
central, anywhere at all. We hope to visit the entire state, and avoid
any "horror-story" parks/campgrounds.
Info needed - Puerto Penasco, MX10 Aug 2004 03:08 GMT16
Can anyone give me info on this location? My wife saw something about
it and now wants to visit there, possibly to stay for a month or so.
Thanks in advance.

Toad Question..09 Aug 2004 22:23 GMT5
If the vehicle used as a toad pulls to one side while driving (hands off the
wheel) and thus, isn't tracking straight... will it still do that while being
towed?  My sense tells me that it will still "pull" and thus try to move the
rear of the MH around.
Fifteen Seconds & Farewell09 Aug 2004 18:05 GMT2
It's been a couple of months since I've posted anything here and it's
unlikely that I'll be posting much, if at all, in the near future. Over
the years, I've noticed a pattern of mine where every so often I feel a
need to take a break from Usenet, so that's what I'm going to do once
Duramax09 Aug 2004 18:03 GMT3
Has anyone purchased a new Chev or GMC Duramax laately -- preferably for
cash?  I am wondering how much the actual discount off sticker is
running.   As near as I can tell around here in Mid Missouri it is about
$8,000, but could be less since there are not many diesels on the ...
A Dark and Stormy Night09 Aug 2004 17:36 GMT6
28 June 04
Farwell, Texas
It was a dark and stormy night....No, wait.  That comes later.
I left Georgetown under cloudy skies at noon, and drove straight on
