I was up bright and early this Sunday morning, loading up the leftover
firewood, packing away the outdoor uneasy chair, pissing off the
hummingbirds by pouring out their breakfast, etc.  The guy in the next

Aloha Everyone -
I said that I would let you know the end result to those who responded
to my quest for help regarding the installation of a washer/dryer in
our Kountry Star travel trailer.
Bush and the truth, Kerry ??? Nader NO23 Aug 2004 20:47 GMT5
I will not say President Bush lies, but he sure is less than careful where he
gets his information. I'm not sure about Senator Kerry he can't seem to find
his plan and stick to it.  2004 looks like another vote for the least harmful
candidate.  A vote for Nader is just a wasted vote ...

We will be heading to Las Vegas for a Jimmy Buffett concert in Mid October
and were wondering if any body had any recommendations for RV parks in town.
We take along a Yamaha Riva 180 scooter with us for transportation so we
would like something either close to the MGM Grand or ...

Man, it's a glorious day here at the McPhee Reservoir in SW Colorado.
70 degrees, blue skies, soft breezes, and a campsite overlooking the
reservoir.  I may be here another week.
RV specific trip planning software?23 Aug 2004 20:12 GMT39
I've been a Rand-McNally Tripmaker user for years (though I confess the
latest version I have is Tripmaker 2000 Deluxe). Now I'm looking for
something that specifically addresses RV issues: campgrounds, suitability of
roads, etc. I saw a reference to something like that on the Rand ...

Left today for a two week trip from NY to New Orleans. Three hours into the
trip on Interstate 78 the engine cuts out ( Cat 3126 330hp )as well as the
entire dashboard. Got the rig to the shoulder and called emergency service.
While waiting for them to call back, tried to start it ...

real world mileage in an RV23 Aug 2004 16:35 GMT30
Does anyone know what RV would be rated the best as far as mileage goes?
I'll be looking for a class B's or a smaller class C's and was wondering
what real-world numbers people were getting. I hear people talk about the
older Toyota and LeSharo RV's getting 15-20+ mpg, and the newer ...
synthetic oil and portable generator23 Aug 2004 07:39 GMT1
I have a Yamaha EF3000ISEB unit with about 20 hours runtime. Used it at
various speeds/amps last weekend to run 15kw AC as well as normal RV
electrics.
The manual says change the oil at 20 hours - is it too soon for synthetic

some of the "snowbirds".

Newbie TT - Where to Begin?23 Aug 2004 03:48 GMT9
We really want to get into the TT world, and out of tent-camping. We
have a 6 and 4 year old, and live in Montana, so lots of camping
opportunities, but so much work and dirt when tent camping, we'd like
to be able to "hook and go" more often.
