Tires19 Aug 2004 16:08 GMT4
Since reading RORT, I pay more attention to the tires on my RV's and my
cars. I check them more now than I did in the past. Today it paid off.
I just replaced the tires on my "wannabe Class B", Ford van. They were
three years old with only 20,000 miles on them. I hated to change ...

I blew into Creede around noon yesterday, and stopped at a BBQ joint

PING!  Bob Giddings19 Aug 2004 00:10 GMT10
I have been meaning to tell you for months that you should evolve your
musings into a book.  You have the touch for bringing the words alive.
One of our favorite books and audio tapes is Blue Highways by William Least
Heat Moon.  Both always stay in the rig.  Your writings are every ...
Journal Update18 Aug 2004 19:22 GMT1
We have concluded our tour of the West, and the 2004-1 journal has been updated.
There are lots and lots of photos.  If you don't have at least 56 kbps access,
the download time will be very long.

My wife and I have been pop up tent trailer campers for some time, and
my wife wants to upgrade to a motorhome but we don't have lots and
lots of cash.  A dealer in town has a motorhome on consignment that is
a 1990 Coachman Catalina 29 ft with only 37k miles.  It also has
Macerator Questions18 Aug 2004 17:00 GMT5
I've picked up a macerator pump that I'll be installing in the MH in the
near future. I know some of you have already performed an installation
yourselves and I'm looking for any pointers you might be able to offer both
on installation and use of the pump.
Newsgroup personalities18 Aug 2004 16:27 GMT11
One thing that continues to amaze me is the difference between the
personalities of people who post on the newsgroups and the persons I have
met face to face.  I have been lucky enough to meet a few of them and have
enjoyed visiting with them and found them to be very nice ...
Winegard Replacement Antenna18 Aug 2004 16:20 GMT3
Well my Antenna gave up the ghost on our last trip.  Tried checking it
out with the digital but for some reason could not get a good reading so
ended up totally confused as everything seemed to be working right!  But
today I went out and did another check with my analog meter ...
tv providers18 Aug 2004 12:07 GMT3
I have just about had it with direct tv, they just can't seem to be able to
get my bill right.  They keep charging me for late fees that I don't owe and
I can't seem to be able to convince them of this even with proof of payment
date and amount.  I was just wondering if anyone out ...

hate filled messages and total disrespect towards decorated war heros
who EARNED  heroic badges of respect in COMBAT..yet these slimball
yellow cowards defend George Bush's arranged inclusion in the Texas

Good Sam ERS18 Aug 2004 03:44 GMT21
I posted a message about Good Sam discontinuing me in June and could not
find it but here's the deal.
I got a letter in April that said my use of the service was "unusually high"
and to please check to make sure that my card wasn't fraudulently used.
killfile works really well BUT18 Aug 2004 03:21 GMT18
Well, I did a killfile on all of the OT posters and it works very
well.  The only problem is there are several out their posting their
political dribble without prefacing it with OT.
It has been said that ignorance is just a lack of knowledge so I guess

I am trying to figure out what kind of vehicle we need to buy to tow a

In the brochure it says - "total dry weight - 3882", "load capacity -
