Put the desktop in the rig today.15 Sep 2004 13:26 GMT20
Progress. A little bit more gets done each day. We're getting all the
"stuff" ready for the final push to get rid of it. One of the things I can
hardly wait to sell is the lawn mower. I've been cutting this 3 acre patch
of ground for almost 10 years and I'm looking forward to the ...
Showers15 Sep 2004 11:19 GMT10
I have recently bought a class C and for the first time now have a Shower.
My question to you seasoned RVers is should I run the water pump for an
extended time to boost the spray? With out the pump is it pretty much
useless, I do have a pressure reduce fitted when hooked up.
TOAD15 Sep 2004 05:40 GMT3
We're just starting out with a diesel power truck and camper.  We're looking
for information on TOADs, hitches, tow bars, braking system.  Is there a
good place to start to obtain information on what vehicles (small 4X4) are
suitable and reliable, which tow bar systems and braking ...
DNC Propagandists?15 Sep 2004 04:00 GMT15
Has anyone noticed the large number of Bush bashers posting here for
the first time, generally just a single message from a person with no
history here, with addresses like: carpal.plarnck.to, aoldeacon.to, or
a confidential forwarder in Europe?

Storage pad for Class C14 Sep 2004 23:20 GMT1
I want to take my 23' Class C  out of storage and keep it in my
back yard. The yard now has a good grass surface now.
Is it best to pour a complete concrete pad or can I pour four
pads for the tires and still have good drainage into the ground?
Rental of Sprinter based unit14 Sep 2004 22:38 GMT8
I am starting to admire the RVs based on the Mercedes powered Dodge Sprinter.
Can anyone point me towards a dealer that rents same ?
Conversely, a dealer that has a demonstrator available might suffice.
I would want to try a full day tour and a night's stay at the minimum.

Thanks for the heads up about Craig's List. I hadn't heard of it before, but
gave it a try to sell some stuff that's been laying around. We'll see how it
goes. Thanks.

Suburban water heater ignitor board14 Sep 2004 18:17 GMT3
OK, I've tracked down my non-working water heater
(Surburban SW6D) to a bad ignitor board.  I have three questions:
1.  Why are replacement boards so damn much?  Over $100.
Being in the electronics industry, I estimate the mfgr cost to
2004 Travel Journal14 Sep 2004 17:36 GMT13
Have completed the 2004 journal of our trip to Oregon, the loop from Oregon to
San Francisco, and the trip back to Florida.
There are lots and lots of photos.  If you don't have at least 56 kbps access,
the download time will be very long.
Any comments on Kit travel trailers14 Sep 2004 15:39 GMT2
Just picked up a 1967 Kit 208t 21ft. Got for  $5700.00 1st trailer we have
ever had.  Any comments on if we did ok?  It does show that it was used but
clean inside and out.  The awning is tore, do it take much to replace or
repair?
Replacement moldings14 Sep 2004 14:50 GMT3
I want to replace the (vinyl?) side moldings on my 91 Southwind.  Is there a
source for them? These are the molded ones, not the flat stripes.
