Silver Springs staging area for Ivan12 Sep 2004 23:23 GMT15
Pulling out of the Silver Springs' P.O. tonight about 9, we were waved
into a long line of util trucks. Looking farther up the road across the
Rt. 40/SR 35 traffic light intersection, we saw what looked like a huge
accident with flashing lights and more power and tree removal trucks

consumer tip for small car owners12 Sep 2004 19:32 GMT6
This is almost impossible to prove, but I think one of the biggest
ripoffs for small car owners is tire shops such as Goodyear and
Firestone torquing the lug nuts on the front wheels improperly. If the
lug nuts aren't torqued correctly, the rotors will warp, which is an
Synthetic oil;12 Sep 2004 15:35 GMT55
I've started using synthectic oil in our RV engine. From all the
research and asking around,it's obviously better than 'dino'
oil.Yes,it's more expensive,but then again,so is a new/rebuilt
engine.Your opinons,please.
Deer are here again....12 Sep 2004 14:43 GMT34
2 does with 1 fawn each are munching fallen apples about 30 feet from
the camper.  I can stick my head out the window to watch and it doesn't
faze them a bit.  These are late fawns whose spots are just fading.
Yearling does from their size and the fact they only have 1 fawn.

Outlet short, RTFM!12 Sep 2004 06:20 GMT2
The second day I started up the gen due to power loss from H. Frances, we
lost power right after although the gen was running fine. I chastised Bob
(who should know better) for changing the previous night's setup and using
more household cords plus the heavy duty ones to try to run ...
HELP ! ! Motor Home Dead + Hurricane comming.12 Sep 2004 03:35 GMT4
Help Needed!! Before Hurricane gets here.
I have a Motor Home, it's a Ford E 350 460 Class C. Either the fuel pump or
filter is bad. The filter has a clip that hold's the fuel line into the end of
the filter. We removed the clip but the line won't come out.
Steam Clean the Canvas on a Pop-up12 Sep 2004 02:53 GMT2
Just wondering if it is safe to use a steam cleaner on the canvas on a
Pop-up. These are the same steam cleaners used for cleaning bathroom
tiles. My canvas on my Pop up is from  the 70s. I will read the follow up
posts.
Generator or not - advice please12 Sep 2004 02:38 GMT28
I'm thinking of buying a 28' class c and need advice to help me decide if I
need a generator.
I don't think I need to run the A/C or microwave unless plugged in to AC. I
will need to be able to run the furnace fan overnite or run 2 fantastic fans

Start a pool with your neighbors as to where it makes landfall.  Those
dinky dots called the Florida Keys don't count.
