Delamination on my 1987 class C coacman11 Sep 2004 07:45 GMT5
I am starting to notice some delamination on my 27ft coachman class C.
I am not sure if the siding is fiberglass or aluminum.
I was thinking of drilling a small hole in the siding and pooring some
glue or silicone and pressing siding back against the wall.
Starcraft Popup11 Sep 2004 06:02 GMT23
Okay, got a shot at a repo 1999 Starcraft 2601 popup for a stupid low
price.  I camp quite a bit, but am sick of bears in my tent (whether
there is food in there or not).  Granted, I know bears can get in a
popup too, but I like the idea of towing everything in one neat little

After a nudist video tape was mentioned in a posting (a
tape titled Parents-Teens Valentines Dance) I decided I
would go and take a look for myself:

Acura Navigation (Alpine) and Streets and Trips10 Sep 2004 15:11 GMT1
I just took a long trip across the U.S. in my Acura using the
Navigation System in the car.  I noticed that when I drove into small
towns, the map detail in the Navi System was virtually useless - just
not enough streets defined and named.
Tow vehicle needs new brakes10 Sep 2004 05:44 GMT12
I have a 2001 Ford Expedition that needs new brake pads.  It is my wife's daily
driver and my weekend hauler.  I use it to tow my 3,500# jeep through some
fairly steep and twisty canyons on the way to the trail head, along with some
freeway driving.  I've searched the web and found ...
glue needed for rubber roof over metal substrate10 Sep 2004 05:13 GMT9
I have a '94 Dutch Star motor home. A previous owner used the wrong goop to coat the roof. It made the membrane hard and it cracked.
Here is my problem. My supplier won't or can't get glue to bond the new roof to the metal substrate.
The coach has an aluminum framing with 1/4 ...
Thermostats and other changes10 Sep 2004 04:25 GMT54
One of our complaints about the MH was the Mickey Mouse Coleman thermostat
that came installed in the rig. I think it was Hugh that posted the link to
instructions on how to change this POS to a Hunter Digital. I had downloaded
and printed these out several months ago and on Friday ...

RV bathroom fan question09 Sep 2004 21:33 GMT19
We are returning a rental RV tomorrow.  We had a problem while out on
the desert, while trying to vent the bathroom (due to a black water
drainage problem the toilet was overflowing), we discovered that the fan
blows INTO the RV rather than blowing OUT of the RV as expected.  I ...

South Texas RV park recommendations?09 Sep 2004 15:24 GMT10
I GOOGLE'd but didn't find anything recent. Wife and I have done Florida the
last couple of winters and thought we'd try Texas this year (even decided
before hurricanes). Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. We'd like a
couple or three places that we could stay for say a ...
Shocks for my truck09 Sep 2004 14:41 GMT4
Hi Y'all;
I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado CK 1500 Pickup that is in need of shocks.  Can
anyone recommend something appropriate?  I know I can go ask the guy at the
shop, but I like to be at least a little prepared before I walk in there.
