Long bed or short bed03 Sep 2004 23:13 GMT41
Long story short, it looks like we'll be buying a 3/4 ton diesel and a fifth
wheel (29 ft). The question is how important is having a long bed? I realize
they have slider hitches for the "short" bed, but my concern is how
inconvenient are they. Do you only have to activate them ...
Whew!! Close Call03 Sep 2004 15:24 GMT13
The other night I was watching the end of " Last Comic Standing". I got up
to answer the call of nature. When I got back I sat down and watched  the
GOP convention for ten minutes before I realised  it wasn't still "The Last
Comic Standing"
The Road to Utah!03 Sep 2004 09:44 GMT3
Hey All,
My wife and I will be leaving on the 14th for a drive through southeastern Utah. I only have the 15-18 to see as much as
possible of the area. We'll be coming up the 15 from So Cal. We'll be boondocking  wherever we can since most of the
campgrounds have stopped taking ...

why are Canadian prescription drugs so cheap?03 Sep 2004 04:14 GMT12
"So, why the price difference? Well, in large part because the
Canadian government says it should be that way. Prescription drug
prices in Canada are regulated by a government body called the

Question about dishes02 Sep 2004 23:34 GMT74
So, my wife and I were talking about RVing and she said "What kind of dishes
do you take in a 5th wheel?"  She said a bunch of 1950s restaurant ware
would be good.  (We love the stuff.)
I said, "You probably don't want ceramic dishes rattling around as you go

Who says Repubs never have fun?02 Sep 2004 22:54 GMT33
You may have heard of Alfred French, a swift-boat veteran who attacked
John Kerry in a commercial.  And later revealed that he wasn't present
at the incident but that "friends" were!
Anyway, he's been placed on paid leave from the local prosecutor's
How can I check to see if I have an automatic transfer switch?02 Sep 2004 22:49 GMT26
RV regualtions differ slightly between US and Canada. I have an Onan 5.5
generator in my 5er. Like the subject says, how can I check to see if I have
an automatic transfer switch? After I start the gererator, it takes about 15
seconds for the AC to kick in but I figured that was ...
