A few weeks ago, someone posted about getting registration, driver's
license, CCW, etc. in SD with no hassle. It was in some small town.  I
thought I had saved that posting but can't find it now.  Would that
person please repost?
Recommendation for Full Time Fifth Wheel17 Sep 2004 20:28 GMT63
My wife and I are planning on going out full timing after our house sells.  Full time means 9 months
per year.  We're starting to look at fifth wheel trailers to buy, new or used.  We will be buying a
Ford F-350 Diesel (2004 or 2005) to pull the trailer.  (Yes, the 2005 has greater ...

In our zeal to properly provide food and beverages for 12 folks for 8
days at Burning Man, we ended up purchasing (and using) 6 large coolers,
1 extra large cooler, and 1 ice water dispenser/cooler.  Now all of
these items need to be cleaned and stored so that they are ready for ...

Another Frances datapoint17 Sep 2004 05:07 GMT24
Frances passed right over us in Ottawa Canada yesterday. While nothing
compared to other locations' rainfall, it dropped the single day greatest
rainfall ever on Ottawa: 129mm. Took half an hour to dump the excess water
out of my pool.
battery question17 Sep 2004 05:02 GMT5
We have a motorhome that has the dual batteries, converter/inverter, and
generator. My husband failed to mark how the engine and coach battery were
connected and now though everything works fine, the generator will only
start if the key is on and the battery switch is on dual. We ...
Railroad Flatcar RVing17 Sep 2004 03:52 GMT6
I remember watching a PBS television show that showed people vacationing in
Mexico in their RVs that were tied down to one side of a railroad flatcar
with the rest of the flatcar fenced in as the train traveled to different
locations.  Does anyone know where I could find more ...

What is Off Topic?16 Sep 2004 22:27 GMT30
OK, I'm positive that politics, religion and several other things are off
topic and should be labeled as such, but I have some questions about other
items.
For example, should computer questions and posts be labeled off topic. They
FloJet Macerator question16 Sep 2004 22:00 GMT7
I came across a 16 amp floJet Macerator which I picked up after hearing
several good reviews on the Macerators.  I believe I had heard LZ and others
talking of their experiences and thought they were able to move waste 100
ft. or so with their pumps.  The recommendations on this one ...
RV Park Lake Logan Martin Pell City Ala?16 Sep 2004 20:52 GMT1
I've got a 2 day fishing tournament on Logan Martin in October and plan on
taking the RV. Is Lakeside Landing the only RV park on the north end of the
lake near I-20? Anyone familiar with this area?  Any info would be
appreciated. Where's the nearest Walmart? Thanks.

We are planning to go to New Orleans for the Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Ivan's track16 Sep 2004 19:32 GMT84
Begins to look to me like landfall will be in the Mobile
area. I'm looking at the computer models and the GFDL model
has it pegged with Mobile in its sights. NOGAPS has it
nailing New Orleans. Any new guesses from others?
