Help with Fifth Wheel16 Sep 2004 19:24 GMT6
Greetings to you all, I'd like some help with a situation that has
risen unexpectedly and tragically.
My grandfather recently passed away and among the things he left
behind was a 5th wheel trailer.  I don't have the specs handy, but I

Remember how you were complaining about reception for XM in the woods,
and I said it never happened to me?
Well it did this morning at Haviland Lake, north of Durango.  I backed
in a site and onto the leveling boards.  When I got inside, no signal.

A little help chosing right vehicle to tow16 Sep 2004 17:22 GMT2
We're looking for information on what to look for when choosing a car (4X4)
to two behind our truck/camper. I've read NG email here that not ever
vehicle is easy to set up to tow.  Also looking for experience with hitches
and tow bars so we get something compatible with the toad.

looking at a 1987 Allegro w/43,000 miles and in very well kept condition. Original

of his belongings.
RVing on Skyline Drive and  Blue Ridge Parkway16 Sep 2004 14:56 GMT11
My wife and I are thinking about renting a 25' Class C motorhome for a trip
on Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would do this in late May or
early June. If you have taken an RV trip on one or both of these areas could
you let me know the time of year you went, and most ...

The Results Of Voting Democrat16 Sep 2004 12:22 GMT10
One of the first things our Governor did, in Tennessee, when elected is
appoint a bunch of liberals to run the bureaucracy, of course.
We had a seat belt law that was not a primary offense. The legislator
that introcued that bit of Legislation lost his seat.
Direcway Tripod Dish.16 Sep 2004 03:57 GMT44
The whole box full of stuff got here yesterday, shipped by Greyhound. Got it
home, unpacked it and put it all together. I came with a pretty darn good
book of instructions on pointing and set up, most of which I followed. Those
items I didn't do in sequence of course had to be done ...

Help needed - broken screen door hinge15 Sep 2004 17:47 GMT1
The lower hinge on the inner screen door broke - not at the hinge pin
but at the screen door frame itself. Looks like ( and local RV guy
says) it's an integral part of the complete door assembly (the "pin"
is the full height of the door inside the frame). No way I want to
Gaspe Trip15 Sep 2004 17:47 GMT2
A while back I asked for information about Gaspe. Wifey and I were gone for
two weeks and had a great time. Unfortunately our motorcycle riding was
confined to PEI only as we just didn't have enough time to unload in Gaspe.
I wish we had had time - the roads would have been lots ...
