Microsoft Streets and Trips 200514 Oct 2004 10:30 GMT4
Just to let users know.
I upgraded to 2005 from 2004 and found that the street names around my town
had disappeared as well as there were no updates for new roads in Northern
Ontario or NewBrunswick.

Solar Overcharging Batteries?14 Oct 2004 06:14 GMT9
I recently had to replace my 2 deep cycle coach batteries due to poor
maintenance. Yeah, lesson learned. It appears that the small solar
panel on top is constantly charging the batteries even when they are
at full charge causing the water to boil out.
Capitol Reef National Park14 Oct 2004 04:23 GMT1
More spectacular colors, lots more sand in multi colors, and the best
experience yet. Carolyn and I were hiking in Grand Wash, which is a narrow
canyon with a 2 mile hiking trail which comes out each end of the canyon. About
1/3 of the way back to the car, a Bighorn sheep walked ...
Battery charging from tow vehicle to trailer battery using inverter14 Oct 2004 01:52 GMT4
After read a ton of good info here I think I have come up with a
solution that will work without harming the battery or frying anything.
Here's the plan...

Painting the white stufff white14 Oct 2004 00:12 GMT2
Sometimes, when I have the minutes and the time, I monitor the newsgroup with
the German newsreader on Mozilla.  I noticed that Hunter had painted her white
stuff that had yellowed.
For those with new RVs and don't want the white stuff to yellow, give it a
Replacement Cost Coverage for RV13 Oct 2004 19:47 GMT2
While cleaning up my desk of a stack of papers and junk I found the
following.  An advertisement with the following statement.
Replacement Coverage includes replacement of your RV with a new RV in
the event of total loss and purchase price guaranteed with no
Campground Lamp13 Oct 2004 18:46 GMT98
My husband and I are tent campers, but our good friends are the RV
type.
In the past I've seen a particular lamp at campgrounds, and it's
always been in the "front yard" of an RV site.
Refrigerator and winter13 Oct 2004 17:32 GMT12
We use out camper maybe once a month during the winter. Does anyone know if
it is harmful to leave the refrigerator running while there is a possibility
of freezing temperatures.

Toll road question13 Oct 2004 15:31 GMT6
Can any one tell me the cost of the toll on 64 in West Virginia from near
Mabscott to Charleston? Looks like about 50 miles of highway. Where does one
pay and is it one fee only?
Thanks,
Check Before You Buy13 Oct 2004 15:19 GMT1
In the October issue of Trailer Life, on page 17, is an article which
states that as of July, 2004, Indiana will force retailers to collect a
6% tax on all RV's sold.
This tax will apply to "all sales, no matter where the customer lives or
John Kerry should work at IHOP, not run for President13 Oct 2004 08:47 GMT7
I was thinking that Kerry has not stood fast to anything in his whole life.
His ability to flip-flop leads one to think that his ultimate place in life is
that of a pancake maker.  In Contrast:
George Bush Jr. has redeemed the office of the Presidency and has re-established
Anyone had this type trouble with frig.?13 Oct 2004 07:02 GMT4
Our frig. can run off of AC or Gas.   The check light keeps coming on we
reset it and it will be ok for any where from 2 to 12 hrs.
It has happened on AC and Gas.   Any ideas what is going on ?
Southwest Travel13 Oct 2004 03:58 GMT4
Looking to do a southwest trip in April with the kids (4 and 6) for about 3
weeks.  Planning on Grand Canyon 4 Corners areaa and southern Utah.
Question is, is this a big snow-bird area that I would be smart to have
reservations along the way due to things being booked up? Or ...
Vegas: Silverton's or Oasis?13 Oct 2004 03:00 GMT2
We just returned from Vegas and I was quite surprised how Silverton's
has gone down hill.  We were there about 3 years ago and the grounds
were excellent.  Last week, the grass was fried and the pool was
closed because someone was sick.  Well, unfortunately, my 7 year old
