Hello fellow rv'res
I've got a older class c motorhome that I'm doing some repair on. I'm
trying to locate a source for replacement exterior molding. I want to
replace the aluminum molding with the vinyl insert located on the
Full time Getting Mail?07 Oct 2004 17:09 GMT18
My wife and I have decided to rent our house out in So.Cal for a year and just
hit the road and do some Tube Living with the MH. My question is how do some of
you full timers get your mail? We need to know this in advance so there is no
screw up down the road.
Nouns and adjectives07 Oct 2004 15:16 GMT27
I'm sure it is too late but is there any possibility that RVers will quit
saying electric instead of electricity.  I cringe every time I read that and
as far as I recall nobody says electricity they all say electric.

Anyone had problems with Golden falcon double slide not working in or out ?
Just took my 2001 G.f. into the doctors after cranking the room back in by
hand to move it to the dealers today . All I could hear was a click at the
drive motor in and out when I pushed the control button . ...
upgrade question for old trailer07 Oct 2004 05:04 GMT19
What I need to know now is this, we would like to add one of those
connections for cable television so we could use a small tv in some of
the parks that offer it at the sites. How would we go about this? We
are not interested in satellite at all. This would just be for being
Big Rig RV Hauler07 Oct 2004 03:56 GMT3
<While camping at the Temple View RV Park, in St. George Utah,  I had a short
<conversation with my neighbor in the next spot.  He had retired from OTR
<trucking business in '96, and started a large rig repair business in Salt
<Lake City.  Finally he  decided he wanted to hit the ...
Spouse front seat in bus-type Class A07 Oct 2004 03:42 GMT6
We gave up on the RV life last year because of a poor choice of
vehicle. We're still interested, and are looking at Class A rather
than Class C for 2006. My wife brought up an interesting question
after looking at a number of bus-style rigs.
US-219 from I-80 in PA to I-90 in NY Info Needed07 Oct 2004 01:16 GMT2
My better half has decided that a trip to Niagara Falls from
Havelock, NC early next month is in the stars.
My question is how is US-219 from I-80 in PA to I-90 in NY for
traveling while pulling a 21 trailer? Or should I bite the bullet and
Is the 2005 North American Woodall's guide available?07 Oct 2004 00:50 GMT1
If not, when does it come out? I looked on their website but all I could
find was regional guides, not the biggie.

Gas grill in MH06 Oct 2004 23:40 GMT14
I used to have our gas grill connected to one of the two 20# propane tanks
on our last camper.
We now have a MH and it has one horizontal propane tank (~19 gal) and the
connector doesn't look like the one on the  20# tanks.

Pop Rivits have popped06 Oct 2004 23:18 GMT10
The joints where the endcaps join the side walls of my '91 Southwind are
covered by a metal strip that has been sealed (caulked) and Pop Riveted,
using 1/4" rivets. A couple of the rivets have "popped" out, and I want to
replace them.  But how can I get a backer behind the joint, ...
Anyone here know about shelf stereo systems?06 Oct 2004 20:55 GMT6
If anyone does, we would like to get a small shelf stereo system, not
for the rv, and there are all kinds and makes out there. We would like
something that has excellent bass qualities, plays cds and cassettes
and hopefully wouldn't bee too awfully expensive. I would love to find

Tow Vehicle Issue06 Oct 2004 17:20 GMT7
Ok, we here often converse about whether or not a load is too much for a
given tow vehicle or not.
You can judge for yourself if this guy has the right tow vehicle for the
job!!!
