US-219 from I-80 in PA to I-90 in NY Info Needed06 Oct 2004 17:11 GMT2
My better half has decided that a trip to Niagara Falls from
Havelock, NC early next month is in the stars.
My question is how is US-219 from I-80 in PA to I-90 in NY for
traveling while pulling a 21 trailer? Or should I bite the bullet and
Thor Tahoe Specifications?06 Oct 2004 17:04 GMT3
Recently acquired a 2001 Thor Tahoe Widelite 25MS. The manufacturers
certification plate (front, streetside) info has faded off. Could
someone let me know what that might be - GVWR, GAWR, and especially
tire inflation pressures. And, as long as I'm asking, out of
Hurricane Ivan State (Pensacola Area)06 Oct 2004 03:30 GMT15
It has now been 2 and 1/2 weeks since hurricane Ivan visited
Pensacola.  We were able to attend Chruch this morning and visit with
friends we have not seen or heard from since Ivan came crashing
ashore.

Hi Gang,
A while back I mentioned a fulltimer told me he used Bounce sheets to get the
bugs off the front of his motorhome or fiver. (I forget which)
Anyway, I just washed Patti's little car, which was covered in front with love
Escapees are great.05 Oct 2004 21:40 GMT41
When we checked into this campground yesterday I noticed the Escapees emblem on
the wall of the office. I thanked him for supporting the Escapees, and he
responded that there was an Escapees rally going on "right now".
As soon as we got set up we walked in on their gathering in the ...

WIFI, Linksys and WalMart05 Oct 2004 19:41 GMT20
I have been watching WalMart stocking the Linksys WIFI equipment.
I remember some one on here having some sort of interface problems
between brands of WIFI equipment. What problems are they? I have lost my
notes on our previous discussions on this, can some one go back over it.
Play "Name That Liberal" Round 405 Oct 2004 19:04 GMT1
The powers in charge keep us in a perpetual state of fear, keep us in
a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor with the cry of grave
national emergency. Always there has been some terrible evil to gobble
us up if we did not blindly rally behind it by furnishing the
US Canada border crossing05 Oct 2004 17:12 GMT88
We will be travelling south this winter on our usual snowbird trek.  We have
heard of stories where US Customs have confiscated food items that they say
cannot be carried into the US.  Has anyone experienced problems with Items such
as frozen beef, pork and chicken in the RV freezer ...
Pikes Peak going down/brakes05 Oct 2004 05:41 GMT137
A interesting side note of our trip to the top of Pikes Peak.
There were warning signs both up, and down, saying "hot brakes fail". On the
way down, about 1/3 of the way, there was a checkpoint and a ranger with an
ifrared thermometer. He checked the front brake rotors on all ...

Luck?  where did it go? (grin)05 Oct 2004 03:15 GMT3
Now I find that my Lan card in the desktop took a nose dive, luckily I
still had an old one but it is only a 10 instead of the 10/100 I had
before.  Hurricanes, thunderstorms, lightning, trees catching on fire
and a roof leak and now my Lan card.  I better get on the road pretty

New England Experiences (Long)04 Oct 2004 23:49 GMT7
My New England experiences in July, 2003. First let me say that I'm sure
there are countless terrific campgrounds throughout all of New England.
We only found 2 in over 2 weeks. Also, these observations were of a
relatively small area, Eastern Mass., the Boston metro area, NH and ...
