Gel coat repair?21 Oct 2004 16:17 GMT2
Recently, somebody was backing a 5er out of a space opposite mine and "nudged" the engine grill at
the rear of my coach. No real problem, beyond some bent grill slats, which a pair of needlenose
pliers quickly repaired, so I didn't make a big deal out of the incident. Later, ...

Data point and a question...20 Oct 2004 23:41 GMT5
A small data point in our 3-year escape plan...
Last Friday morning, our credit union sent us a written loan commitment on
a 36 foot K-Z 5th wheel toy hauler.  We faxed the papers on to Camptown RV
to confirm an order we placed with them several weeks ago.  With luck, the
AARP and RVing20 Oct 2004 18:13 GMT4
We have just attended the AARP Life @50+ Expo in Las Vegas.  Even though an

them.  There were several "official" hotels with shuttle service to the
convention center, but no RV parks.  Even if they did ...

advice. Dot, don't feel that your being mean. You gave sound advise.
Off Topic Haters - Ignorance is Bliss?20 Oct 2004 16:38 GMT2
In the Cal Thomas Column shown below, you will find adequate evidence that an
overwhelming majority of voters go to the polls with their heads in the sand
due to ignorance or what I suppose the PC crowd would prefer to call "Lack of
Knowledge." This is depressing as hell but no less ...
Mt. Rushmore20 Oct 2004 05:05 GMT8
We are visiting Mt. Rushmore next week.  Would anyone please recommend an RV
resort with full hookups but in a quiet rural setting away from the highway?
Thanks in advance!

Tionesta and White Stuff20 Oct 2004 01:18 GMT3
Left Reno about 9:00 am yesterday. Wind was blowing hard and a few raindrops
occasionally hitting the windshield. We took US 395 North to just north of
Honey Lake. BTW, Honey Lake is not a lake. It's a dry lake bed, at least the
part we could see. Then A-3 to US 395 North to ...
