camping fees at Morro Strand and Carpenteria06 Dec 2004 00:05 GMT2
I am thinking about taking a trip later this month along the California
coast and camping at some of the state parks along the way - Morro
Strand and Carpenteria in particular.  I understand that fees have been
substantially increased since the governator took power.
Route suggestion, Worcester, MA to Huntersville,NC05 Dec 2004 13:23 GMT12
Thought I'd hit up the experienced drivers for advice. We have to take a
trip down to NC the week after Christmas. I want to take 84 to 81 to 77,
brings us right to Huntersville, NC. Wife thinks we should take 95 because
the 81/77 route goes through the mountains and could ...
Learning experience (was:  More Winterizing)05 Dec 2004 08:50 GMT1
You old pros ought to get a kick out of this.

find one).  I had previously looked and felt around in the hollows of the
Why TiVo?05 Dec 2004 04:44 GMT40
Don't know if y'all are familiar with Dish Network, the satellite TV service

Dish's DVR is the receiver.  With the top package, there is no extra monthly

OT_Need computer help04 Dec 2004 05:42 GMT46
Some of you may remember I lost my HD in my Dell I8200 a while back.
I'm trying to recover some photo files and used Gibson's SpinRite to fix the

The program ran over 42 hours and it appears the drive might now work,

Heater makes a loud pop sound03 Dec 2004 14:22 GMT7
After a few hours when the heater ties to light it makes a loud pop sound.
If I turn it off and wait it sometimes will work properly for a while, then
it pops again. It sounds like the igniter isn't lighting right away an gas
is building up before it lights. Has anyone had this ...
