Hi Gang,
Today while going through 6 months of mail, what Patti could find anyway, I

The Solution17 Dec 2004 16:01 GMT7
Do any of you have long term experience using "The Solution" to clean and
polish your RV?
I'm parked next to a dealer who let me use it to clean the rear of our MH
today. It worked very well and left a nice shine. I'm looking for someone who
Please us OT: for off topic subjects.17 Dec 2004 15:31 GMT22
For quite a while the members of this group were quite conscientious about
using OT: for their off topic posts.  Now it is very rare.  Perhaps those
that post want to be certain their words of wisdom are not lost in a filter.
Mini-Van Conversions?17 Dec 2004 13:35 GMT3
I was surfing on the GTRV yahoo group and saw a Dodge Caravan converted
into a full camper with a pop-top. I'm not a mini-van guy, but the
Toyota Sienna is a solid, fuel-efficient, AWD vehicle that I think
could potentially offer enough room for a beautiful camper conversion.

Modifications17 Dec 2004 02:00 GMT3
We own a travel trailer & are considering making some modifications to the
layout of the furniture which came with our vehicle. Specifically, we're
considering removing the dinette set, which we hardly ever use as a dinette,
and moving the table and putting in a couple of chairs ...
OPD valves stuck17 Dec 2004 01:31 GMT12
Here's a tip that worked for me this morning.
I woke up to a cold trailer, and this time I knew it wasn't the
thermostat.  Out of gas.
I went out to check the tanks.  One empty, one full.  But the full one
Can the batteries handle this?17 Dec 2004 01:23 GMT19
I have a small inverter running a string of 100 Christmas lights in my Ram.
The lights draw 40.8 Watts.  I have two 750 CCA batteries in the truck and
the inverter will cut off at low voltage.
So, about how many hours of lighting will I have before there would be

A T-shirt company in New Mexico is offering a Canadian disguise kit
for Americans who are travelling abroad and who don't wish to defend
Bush politics. The news story said that sales are brisk.

Can I just RENT a truck to haul my trailer?16 Dec 2004 22:12 GMT17
The good news: I have a 2002 24' Komfort trailer I haul around with a
2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 w/ the 8.1L V8 w/ Allison automatic tranny.
It's a pretty nice set-up. Here's a photo:

Insurance for "homeless" people16 Dec 2004 20:14 GMT12
We sold the house.  Everything is going  in storage.  Told my State
Farm agent exactly what we were doing.  They contacted the underwriter
who promptly said they would dump us.  I expected that.  Now what I
need (no rush - they have to insure me through the end of the policy
Diesel Fumes16 Dec 2004 17:56 GMT6
ASnybody that complained about exhaust from diesel pickups will love the
new 05 catalitic converter equiped Ford diesels. It smells like
differential lube when you come to a stop. Phew!
Can I Purchase A 'Bubble Top' For My Van ?16 Dec 2004 15:30 GMT2
I am thinking about converting my Dodge Van as to be suitable for
camping.
Nothing too fancy, maybe just a bed, sink, fridge, stove, shelves etc,
but it would be nice to be able to stand up in it, also the extra room
Govt. Grant16 Dec 2004 10:35 GMT12
Got a telemarketing call this morning.  The lady on the other end told me
that I was prequalified for an $8K govt. grant to be used for any purpose I
desired, because I was a regular tax payer and it seemed that I could use
the money.
