left coast, But had no idea that it would cause so much damage from
mud slides. It has not been a long time ago that they were going

Hey all...............
I have been downloading with a cellphone (AllTell which is a Verizon
clone) for 6-months or so with no problems.  However, within the past

RE,  Lon & Gary, Speculating12 Jan 2005 00:13 GMT28
Lon received a fraudulent message.  He guessed that Gary was the chief
suspect. In anger he posted his "guess".
He can't provide proof. Embarrassed, he quits the NG.
Gary IS the culprit.  Embarrassed, he offers a half assed apology (posts:
FYI - National RV Warranty Experience11 Jan 2005 19:35 GMT9
I have a 2004 National Tropi-Cal. As some might recall, I had posted back in November that I
couldn't get an appointment at the dealer that sold us our coach until March (Lazydays in Seffern
Florida). I did find a dealer (Vogt in Dallas) that gave me an appointment for early ...
Fuel Economy for an Import Camper?11 Jan 2005 17:16 GMT12
I have a small 2wd 4-cyl Nissan pickup, and I want to put a SMALL
slide-in camper on it. What kind of fuel economy could I expect from it?
It gets about 25 mpg (US) empty.
Yes, I KNOW a V6 would be better, but I'm looking the other way round:
RV park for permanent residence in the bay area11 Jan 2005 11:33 GMT7
I'm a software developer currently living in Mountain View with plans
to start my own company sometime this year.  In order to save money for
the business venture, I'm trying to cut down on living expenses, buying
an RV, and planning to live in it for the next year.  I lived out of ...

Friends of ours were traveling though North Carolina when they were forced
to stop for an accident.  A truck, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck
them from behind.  The truck plowed through their horse trailer killing two
horses, both horses were pregnant.  Our friends and ...
Small Town Escapes11 Jan 2005 04:17 GMT22
I'm planning my Spring 2005 travel adventure based on the National Geographic's
"Guide to Small Town Escapes".
This guide book describes some 70+ of what National Geographic claims to be
America's most charming, out-of-the-way small towns.

You may want to re-think your air filter choice...11 Jan 2005 01:27 GMT23
Just found this on another NG and found it *very* interesting.  Although
the info was gathered for use on a diesel engine, airflow is airflow,
and dirt is dirt.  Alot of good info.

Worst Interstate in US?10 Jan 2005 23:28 GMT68
My vote is for I-10 through Louisiana (especially around Lafayette and NO).
It's probably as close to a "corduroy road" as we're likely to find today.
Since I make the trip between TX and FL several times a year, I can't avoid
this road, though I wish I could. Driving across ...
Dealer check-out sessions10 Jan 2005 18:18 GMT6
Last year, when we bought our new motor home, the dealer gave me their
normal "Dealer check-out", and sent me on down the road. On our first outing
a couple of questions came up that I wasn't sure about the answer so I had
to dig out the manuals, with marginal success.
Anti American History Teaching Bill Passed By Congress in The Dead Of Night  10 Jan 2005 17:53 GMT10
The American History And Civics Act of 2004 was passed this past
December in Congress in the dead of night with little discussion.
This was a rehash of the same Bill that never made it to a vote in the
2003 Congress. I don't remember seeing anything on the vote in the media.

Now that we have our first pull camper we are more aware of all campers on
the road and noticed that the Class A's pulling cars almost all will have
License plates from different states between the camper and the car.  Why?
We think it may have to do with the cost of the ...
