WiFi Email problem followup08 Jan 2005 22:56 GMT5
For the first time ever I got a clear, concise and correct from bellsouth
regarding my problem sending mail while on the road.  It turns out that
all I had to do was to enable authenticated SMTP.  The major ISPs
configure themselves to pass authenticated SMTP traffic.

A friend who's in Iraq sent me this.  He kinda sorta hinted that he wrote
it but I suspect that it is a piece "making the rounds".  Whomever wrote
it certainly has a gift for analogies.

We're property owners again.08 Jan 2005 17:49 GMT5
Well, we're sitting here in Wellton for a month. We're in the same park as
Lon and I'm happy to report that he's as normal as the last time I spent
time with him. He's not turned liberal and that's a relief.
We spent one night in Florence, AZ at the ownership RV park. Took a good
Old PC Update!08 Jan 2005 16:18 GMT3
Hey Frank!  Thanks for your generosity in sending me those W98SE CDs.  I
changed the OS on the old Toshiba and loaded my Direcway software on it.
Still having some problem with the modem disconnecting before I can
successfully download the software "keys" from Direcway.  I ...
GPS navigation08 Jan 2005 14:07 GMT16
I'm thinking of getting a portal GPS navigation system so that I can
take it with me from car to our RV. It looks like the price is getting
cheap now (supercoupon.com listed some for around $400). Any particular
model to look for? Is  NavMan Pocket iCN 510 good?
Hydrogen Power RV In Your Future? 08 Jan 2005 01:14 GMT60
Is there a hydrogen powered RV or tow vehicle in your future? A year ago I
would have bet no. Now I am not so sure. The 38,000#, forty foot bus in this
article below, just went into service here in the Palm Springs area.

Northern VA to Tallahassee -- any advice please?08 Jan 2005 00:29 GMT10
We're going on our first trip from Northern Virginia to St. Joseph's
Peninsula State Park in mid-February. I've heard rumor and gossip
about I-95 and I-10 but don't know if it's as bad as some say. It
looks fine on the map.
Drive a diesel?  - Interested in test results of various oil filters?08 Jan 2005 00:21 GMT47
I ran into this link on an auto related newsgroup. I thought that perhaps
more than a few of you would be as surprised as I was at the test results of
a certain aftermarket filter. I have no financial stake in any of the
filters tested.

Natchez to Mobile Route?07 Jan 2005 15:47 GMT23
SA routes me down I-55 to I-10.  For one, I am tired of driving I-10.
Any idea how the route is and things to see along the way between
Natchez and Mobile?

Got my RV - Got good advise06 Jan 2005 23:28 GMT3
I only posted a few times and I'm glad I did. I already had a tow
vehicle ( Ford F250 gasoline engine ). Prior to my post, I was looking
at 32' fifth wheels and fairly new units. One of the answers I received
was not to buy anything too expensive because that I am new to rving and
