Battery water29 Jan 2005 00:09 GMT33
What is the general opinion regarding the use of distilled or tap water for
the batteries?
Shortcoming in Agent28 Jan 2005 21:57 GMT2
Although I am an unabashed Agent evangelist, I feel the need to inform
the new Agent users here that there is a potential minor security
problem with the product. It probably won't affect any RORTers, but
anyway...
AOL & Usenet,, WHY?28 Jan 2005 19:48 GMT40
This article may explain AOL dropping Usenet.  It appears to be a
liability problem.  It seems some libilous (sp) material came from an
AOL poster, and the court reasoned that since the post was in an AOL
server, perhaps some shared blame is present.  Read it here:
Tire Question28 Jan 2005 02:28 GMT1
News tonite had a feature story about future tires with no
air, they had some sort of waffle spacer between the hub and
the tread.
Anyone have any greater knowledge or info about this.  From
Tech question with hot water28 Jan 2005 02:22 GMT23
I am experiencing an intermitten proplem.
Sometimes when showering & using fresh water from the motorhome's
fresh water tank provided by the onboard pump the HOT water just
stops.  As in NO water at all coming out of any of the MH's HOT water
Re: On Topic: Wire distance from batteries28 Jan 2005 02:14 GMT4
Tom
I lost your last post on the Magnatek 6300. I have the same converter.
Since I have solar panels installed on my MH, and dry camp about 95%
of the time, the 3 amp output of the 6300 is not important to me. I have
Finding mobile RV service on-line27 Jan 2005 22:34 GMT11
I would like to know if anyone has used the Internet to locate a mobile
RV repair service while traveling. If so, what key words did you search
by? Further, if you learned that an RV repair service had a web site,
would you check it out before calling? What other methods for ...
Cut off from the rest of the world27 Jan 2005 21:40 GMT5
If you have internet service through Verizon, you may be wondering why
your email volume is down.  According to this article:
http://www.theregister.com/2005/01/21/verizon_class_action/
Verizon decided to fight spam by closing itself off from the rest of the
National RV Sea Breeze LX?27 Jan 2005 21:22 GMT2
I'm looking at buying the 8311 model.  Anyone out there with
observations to share about this coach? ... or its maker?
Will the two 13.5k BTU A/C units keep it cool in really hot weather?
(I live in Arizona and will be traveling the southwest in the summer.)
GOOD MORNING RV World27 Jan 2005 21:17 GMT5
WOW! Made it through another night, Thank you Lord! ;-)
Guess if I work it right, I will be able to get another tour of duty
back at the barn. Get the east loft started, while waiting on the
concrete contractor to pour the rest of the floor. Have the one
Towed Olds Cutlass 4 down27 Jan 2005 20:06 GMT1
For the last several years I've toward our Olds 4 down without pulling
the fuzes as recommended in the Owner's Manual. So far, it's worked out
OK, because I've not taken long trips. I did a test and determined that
the battery drain is 2 amp in this towing configuration. A trip
Engine Braking27 Jan 2005 19:04 GMT37
I thought I needed a Jake Brake on my HRC Navigator towing a Jeep
Cherokee(now a Liberty), but the service tech said I didn't.  I
complained to him that I was having stopping difficulty, and he told me
things were OK.  A few months later, a Cummins dealer in Reno informed
OT_Firearm photos27 Jan 2005 17:10 GMT5
I'm guessing about half the people here are firearm owners. Here's a site to
look up pictures of arms you own, once owned or want to own. You are also
encouraged to submit any photos, not found in the listings.
Personally, I think every RV owner will want the GAU cannon that's ...

HAVE YOU HEARD THE GOOD NEWS!27 Jan 2005 04:52 GMT8
Good News!
Do you know how simple it is to go to Heaven after this life has ended?
Some people believe that belonging to a local church, temple, mosque or
synagogue will get them to Heaven.
