Using the German server10 Feb 2005 19:31 GMT11
I'm just starting my second day using the German news server
(News.Individual.NET) and Thunderbird by Mozilla.
What is the range of response that I should expect between posting on this
server and this NG server?

More Bush lies about SS10 Feb 2005 17:10 GMT62
eorge Bush never heard the word "no" in his life.  Some may envy that,
I think it's a short suit.  But, you got it Lodi, they don't want to
save it, or fix it, or rescue it or shore it up.  They want to destroy
it as they always have.
Reading a trailer GVWR plate10 Feb 2005 16:22 GMT6
I'm looking at a used gooseneck trailer, a horse trailer with living
quarters made by Sundowner.  The seller sent photos, one is of the
manufacturer's plate and it has an entry for GVWR that says 12700/5761.
Does that mean 12700 is the max loaded weight and 5761 is the empty
LED lights again10 Feb 2005 16:15 GMT21
I am still happy with my LED lights and I am planning to convert some interior
incandescent lights and also add some outside lights that are LED.
After reading the web site that was posted by Ben, I did buy ($1.59) the
voltage regulator that was recommended. The regulator was ...
Duo-Therm Furnace Replacement10 Feb 2005 16:05 GMT7
I have a 1983 Class C with a Duo-Therm 13,600btu furnace. It has given many

I noticed that when it turn on, the fan doesn't spin up as fast as normal
and then the last time the thermostat clicked on, I hear ...

Bush illegitimate?09 Feb 2005 22:36 GMT78
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Leading Sunni clerics declared on Wednesday that any
government emerging from Iraq (news - web sites)'s historic election would
lack legitimacy because many people had boycotted a poll they said was
tainted by a U.S.-led occupation.
Another old fart, "Just go around, dammit" RVer joins the ranks09 Feb 2005 21:19 GMT55
Just thought I'd drop in and say hi, being a kinda friendly person, and from
Texas.
We finally bought our first RV last week - a 22' Class C, 1986 Lindy RV, with a
5.8 liter, gas guzzling, underpowered engine, but what the hell; it'll be fun (I

Sterling Motorhomes09 Feb 2005 03:59 GMT6
A local dealer has what looks like about a 25' low-profile Class A
which carries the name "Sterling". I've seen sseveral of these during
our travels (or maybe it was the one now on the dealer's lot!) and have
been intrigued by the low-profile design and apparent "clever" design
Battery Indicator09 Feb 2005 02:28 GMT39
My coach battery is of the maintenance-free variety.  There is a small circular
window in the top that normally shows green.
When it shows red, does that mean that the battery is dead like in recharging,
or dead like in buy a new one?

We enjoyed meeting some of this group in Yuma/Quartzsite.  I'll post
this so you don't wonder why we left suddenly and without saying
anything.
