Switching to Full Timing:  Incompetence08 Feb 2005 23:26 GMT34
My wife and I made the decision to switch to a full time, almost, RV lifestyle this past year.  We
have now completed the switchover, but it should be noted that we own an investment condo
in a the San Diego area that we stay at occasionally when it is not rented out.  During the
Price negotiating Class A's in Canada08 Feb 2005 22:36 GMT4
I am researching to buy a new class A motor home. I have read that in
the states it is common to negotiate up to 27% off of the
manufacturer's list price.  Is this the case in Canada as well?
(Specifically Montreal, Quebec)
I Did It And I'm Glad08 Feb 2005 22:29 GMT30
We left Maine on Jan, 13th and have not overnighted in a Walmart parking lot
until tonight and what a treat it is! It's well lighted, quiet, and some guy
with yellow flashing lights on his truck drives by about every 15 minutes. Now
if I can just figure out how to stop those trains. ...

For those that would like to tow a fifth-wheel but hate the idea of driving

Just an update on our slow but sure move to Texas.
I downloaded the forms needed for Registration and Title for the MH and car.
It was .pdf format so I filled the forms in using Photoshop and printed them
out. Called the folks at the Polk County Tax Assessors office and gave them
Newgroup reader for Macs08 Feb 2005 16:26 GMT12
I'm going to stick with AOL for legal reasons (complicated) for a while, and
I've use Google to access rec.outdoors.rv-travel.  I don't like the delayed
refresh of the data base.
Looking up the FAQ's for Agent, it's quite clear that they don't support Macs
Rexhall RVs08 Feb 2005 14:53 GMT4
Does anyone have any experience with Rexhall RVs? I'm looking at a 2000
Rexhall V-315 Vision Wide Body for sale with 18,400 miles for only $47000,
which is the low end of the NADA price.
Going I-95 southbound march break08 Feb 2005 08:23 GMT12
So the wife says we're going south for March break... she doesn't care as
long as we end up someplace warm. So, is there any recommendation about
taking 95 south? More scenic side routes... short off the track trips worth
taking?
