Microwave problem with XPOWER 1000 Inverter27 Feb 2005 13:51 GMT17
I just purchased a Tappan 550W microwave that consumes 850W. I
also purchased a Xantrex Xpower 1000W inverter (modified sine wave).
About 20% of the time, when I start the microwave, the light turns on,
the turn table starts to rotate, and just as the magnetron starts up,

More info on credit cards!26 Feb 2005 13:28 GMT13
Checking my Platinum Discover Card today, I noticed some new note about
5 % rebates on purchases made at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hdwe and other
big box stores.  By shuffling through your card stack you should be able
to get a 5% rebate on darn near everything.

more than I knew.  It's not easy to wade through the marketing BS

Citi Bank (Dividend Platinum Select Card) Questions/Answers26 Feb 2005 00:57 GMT7
Bill, I had time to go online and look at my latest Citi Card
statement.  I looked for an indication of how much "dividend" was
earned on each charge.  There was NO indication per-transaction.
The only mention of the dividend was at the end of the statement.

I need some info and advice on car haulers. I plan on  alternately
trailering a "toad" and a street rod I'm working on. My RV is a 30'
Winnebago. Should I go with aluminum to save weight? Or, stick with steel
for strength and durability? Or, am I completely wrong on both counts? ...

today) when some of the macromedia flash ads run that are tied to some
of the news outlets that I visit. Someone suggested that I download
Opera to use as a reader and I could then use switches on F12 to turn
