OK, so we got to Las Vegas on Wednesday. All set up in the RV park and
looking forward to the kids getting in. They all arrived in schedule on
Thursday and we went to lunch with Daughter, SIL, and Granddaughter at noon

Think I'd rather haul an Airstream with this than a short
Suburban 2500. Way better specs.

Workhorse repairs - problems - or not?22 Feb 2005 14:17 GMT2
We are likely going to be new Workhorse owners (Winnebago Sightseer).
One concern we had was service on the engine, transmission, and
chassis.  There just aren't as many Workhorse authorized service
centers as there are for other products (like the Ford).  We like the
Norcold Fridge and "CODE 2:22 Feb 2005 03:30 GMT7
Boy just got the MH back home after replacing the camera, putting in a
new Signal Amplifier for the TV and repairing the Motor AC and doing a
Lube and Oil Filter thing and now I get a Code 2 on my Norcold Fridge.
Not sure if anything is wrong as the Fridge was cold in both upper ...
Trying to figure out what Thor is it21 Feb 2005 21:35 GMT3
There is a 1991 Class A motorhome for sale.  I saw it parked in a
strip mall lot.  I called the owner and he said it's a Thor.  I could
not see any labels or logos or anything to indicate what model, or
even if it's a Thor.  I looked in the front, the rear and both sides.

Remember Basic Training?21 Feb 2005 19:47 GMT14
In case some of you need to be reminded of how old you are,  the
Lackland AFB website has created a link for BMT Class photos from as
early as the Army Air Corps up to present day. They would also
appreciate class photos they are missing.  My flight isn't included yet,

I recently purchased my first travel trailer, a 1994, Sportsman 24 ft,
in excellent condition.  The wife, the dog and I plan a trip from
Michigan to Nevada this summer, to visit my son.  I plan to tow the
trailer with my '04 GMC Z71 4x4 that gets about 15 mpg.
Apple laptops - PING Ralph Lindberg21 Feb 2005 17:09 GMT23
I pinged Ralph because somewhere I got the impression he used a Mac
OS.  But this is a question for anyone who does.  I asked this first
in an obscure thread, but got no response, so I thought I'd try again
on a broader stage.
Camping with tents21 Feb 2005 14:35 GMT8

Dometic refrigerator21 Feb 2005 08:45 GMT4
We are having trouble with our Dometic intermittently shutting off
while only while the coach is going down the road.  It must be turned
off and reignited to start again.  Anyone have any ideas for solving
this problem?
mini refrig in van21 Feb 2005 03:58 GMT32
I have just purchased a used V-10 Club Wagon and plan to use it to get
to campground.  In the past I've been using a cooler.  Now would like
to know if I can use a mini elec refrig plugged in using a converter.
The refrig is available at Home Depot.  The people there do not know
question about captain's chairs21 Feb 2005 03:03 GMT3
This may not be the most appropriate forum for this question, but I
think some of you might have the answer I need (or want).
I'm on a small quest to convert the front passenger seat of my 1991
Toyota Previa van into a swivel/Captain's chair, so I can tunn it
