Motor Home back in the Drive20 Feb 2005 21:23 GMT5
Well a little over two weeks I finally got my MH back in the drive.
Net result, back up camera was bad, so it was replaced.  Cost of
changing over to another set up would have been as expensive or more
than just replacing the camera.  AC problem turned out to be a low
What if? the ultimate dream RV?20 Feb 2005 18:21 GMT27
Ok, I like to fantasize :)  Here's a "What if" question.  If one could
purchase/design their own ultimate one-of-a-kind RV, what would it
include, especially if cost was not a consideration?
I'd like to have my own personal chauffeur 24/7/365,  no matter the

Not sure if it's a class "C" or "B" but it looks like it should last:

Trailer for Boat & Toad??20 Feb 2005 01:24 GMT5
I've seen a couple of Rv'ers towing a single trailer behind their rig with
both a boat and their "toad" on board. The bow of the boat was pointed
skyward and the "toad" was behind it. The trailer appeared to double up,
meaning it held both at the same time. Anybody got any ...
First long trip20 Feb 2005 00:49 GMT33
Planning on going to Ohio from Florida in April. The Mapquest route has
me going directly through the mountains on I-77N. I've driven this in a
car with no problem, but wonder how it would be in my RV. I've got a
30ft. Coachman Mirada that I've only driven on the 10ft mountains in
Hi to all in here19 Feb 2005 23:56 GMT24
My wife and I don't have one of those fancy fifth wheels, though we
would both like to have one, just can't afford one. :-) But we do have
an old travel trailer that we have used for years and it still
provides us with much needed rest when we do travel. In the back end
WiFi newbie, here.  Access Point?19 Feb 2005 22:58 GMT35
For those of you who have set up wireless access points:
What kind of logging goes on that shows connections?  Is there a
record of users?

Nutrition on the road19 Feb 2005 22:37 GMT7
Does anyone else feel like they eat worse when on the road? We still
cook, but I feel like we frequently are willing to overlook a balanced
diet in favor of what's convenient. I wouldn't mind some nutrition tips
from people out there battling the same problem.
Time to travel from Zion NP to North Rim Grand Canyon?19 Feb 2005 22:11 GMT5
We will be staying in Springdale, next to Zion NP (in May) and would
like to make a day trip (w/o trailer attached) to the North Rim. Is it
feasible? How long would it take to get there (approx.)? Is there one or
two "must sees" in the short period of time we have there?

I just got an email from the German news server. Beginning Aoril 1
they are going to charge for the service.  I'm not sure how much as
the price quoted is in Euros.
I think there is something out there in cyber-space that is trying to
