Don't download the Windows antispyware program.
My wife did and almost immediately we were hacked. All of our firewalls
were turned off and various programs were screwed up. I hope our accouts
information hasn't been compromised but there are some irregualrities
Crazy timing, but away we go!17 Mar 2005 16:04 GMT7
I've long planned a trip to the Central Coast (CA) as a birthday
surprise for my wife, Annie. She's a Hearst's Castle fan and one more
visit plus a piece of jewelry is "the surprise"....then came the rains
and the mudslides.

Beethoven's Ninth17 Mar 2005 05:59 GMT3
I notice that the Austin Symphony is performing Beethoven's Ninth
Symphony this weekend.  I've got to go.  This is the sort of thing I
miss while traveling.
I haven't heard the Ninth in quite a while, though of course I've got
WAY O.T.  Race Report: Twentieth Running of the L.A. Marathon17 Mar 2005 03:17 GMT25
I doubt that any of you are into running, but since I spent a lot of
time writing  the damned thing, I'm gonna post it.
I relaxed out in my new 5th wheel when I got home so there is an RV
theme in here somewhere. ;-)
Burnet, TX Municipal RV Park17 Mar 2005 02:54 GMT13
I mentioned the Burnet park in a post last month and a couple of people
posted saying that it wasn't in their books and asking for information
about it.  I finally got some information today.

Schrader Valve tire gauge experience16 Mar 2005 17:48 GMT23
After a blow out on one of my inside duall tires a number of years ago
I decided to find a better way to check the pressure on my tires.  I
didn't realize it then but I probably had more of a problem than most
RV'ers since my tires carried 100 # of air.  If your vehicle does not
Ford V10 Questions16 Mar 2005 13:28 GMT20

I've never had a Ford powered motorhome and would like to know if there is
any potential problems I need to look out for, driving tips, ...

Hi, I am considering getting the HW6500 when it comes out (trying not
to think about the price tag) but wanted to know about GPS software for
the Mobile Windows platform.  I see some stuff that offers maps for
places within the US but I have to travel a lot internationally all the

Best for rental15 Mar 2005 15:57 GMT2
We are taking some friends on a two week motorhome trip with us. We have our
class A and they are going to rent a class C from SOMEBODY. Anybody have any
good or bad experiences aside from the normal "sh.t happens" experiences.
Everyone gets a turn in the barrel once in awhile, ...
