Cool!  Hey Dave, can you see this from Puerto Penasco?
I love watching lightning storms at night.

Old gasoline is bad?11 Mar 2005 06:20 GMT18
Many discussions here have said that it's good to use Stabel in your
gasoline system if left for more than 6 months or so idle.  Well, I just
had a little awakening about this and it may just be luck. I have a
chainsaw that I believe I haven't used for over 5 or 6 years at least! ...

Samborees or caravans?10 Mar 2005 20:53 GMT2
I've noticed MH trips in groups ending is say 5 days in Myrtle Beach. They
cost around $1300 to $1500 for two people.
What am I missing here? If you have your own MH, food and gas etc. what is
the $1300-$1500 for? 5 nights in a campground, sightseeing, what else?
Motorhome Decals10 Mar 2005 19:20 GMT14
The decals on my 1999 Fleetwood Southwind are at the end of their useful
life. Some have cracked and lost any gloss they may have had. Should I get
new ones froim the factory or shop any of the decal stores on line? Paint is
too costly at this time, even though I know it would be ...

Reno to Yosemite - Best route?10 Mar 2005 06:29 GMT2
Next summer we will be going from Reno, NV to Yosemite NP via 395. Was
wondering if 395 to 120 would be a good choice with a trailer in tow.
On the map it is seasonal, and seems to be most direct route.
We have reservations at Tuolumne Meadows and then on through the park to

Battery paper10 Mar 2005 04:25 GMT4
The following paper was cited on a mailing list I receive.  I thought
it might be of interest to those who desire a better understanding of
what happens in batteries as they discharge.  The article regards what
the authors claim is a better model than the familiar Peukert
Weather Still Sucks10 Mar 2005 03:43 GMT10
This morning the temperature on top of Mt. Washington was -22 with wind
gusts up to 105 mph, burrrrrr.
Here in the mid-coast area the wind was in the 40's and the temp was in
the low teens. I am blaming the grandsons for all of this cause if it
OT, Beer10 Mar 2005 00:04 GMT16
I'm told there is food value in Beer.  I am, however, not aware of any beer
value at all in food.
And, don't forget, beer has helped ugly people have sex ever since it was
invented.
Ping Ralph Lindberg09 Mar 2005 19:10 GMT60
Ralph, I've been looking at trailers, and I keep coming  back to the
Arctic Fox 24 5N.  The very one you have.  I have a 2000 F250 V10,
which I believe is the same truck you haul with, give or take a year.
The 24 5N seems heavy.  I know I asked you right after you bought the

Enough Truck?09 Mar 2005 18:59 GMT14
A good friend of mine has just purchased a new 26.5' TT with a dry weight of
4200 lbs. He is planning on towing it with a 2004 Dodge Dakota with the
towing package rated at 6500. Does he have enough truck to do the job? Most
of his traveling will be at or near sea level. Of ...
