Going South02 Mar 2005 02:56 GMT2
Atlanta is just too cold!! 26 degrees tonight. The house sitter
arrives tomorrow and we head south about 200 miles. Will stop and
sample the weather around the FL line. I really don't want to go to FL
this year. :-(
a death in the family02 Mar 2005 00:57 GMT196
Kenn Smith (a frequent poster in here) and his wife were both killed
last night in Arizona by a apparently drunk truck driver. Their RV was
forced off the road, the fuel tank leaked, caught fire, and both were
killed before passers by could get them out of the vehicle. Juan

The Weather Sucks01 Mar 2005 22:51 GMT12
When we left Melbourne a week, or so, ago it was 87 degrees, since we
have been home it hasn't gotten above the low 30's. Today it is snowing
like hell and the wind is gusting into the 40's. The wind blew out one
of the barn windows and now I don't dare go in there cause I fear ...
Ideas for steel buildings01 Mar 2005 22:42 GMT13
We about to go on the road again.  The idea is to do contract nursing,
which is usually 6 months here, 6 months there.  What I'd like to do is
buy some property wherever we are, put up one of those steel buildings
and a concrete floor, and add plumbing, sewage, and electricity.  ...

Has anyone used one of these?  They look nice, would work great in a,
Motorhome, any place you did not want to look for your Cell Phone.
Thinking of getting one, for motorhome, any Info would be helpful.
Thanks, Mike & Diane
El Cheapo Backup camera01 Mar 2005 16:32 GMT9
I was in Harbor Freight last week and they had a pile of miniature security
cameras.  They are weatherproof, and plug into the video (and audio!) input
of a TV.  I've been wanting a camera to keep tabs on my toad, so I bought a
monochrome model.  It was around $25.00.  Color ...

Scanning recent posts re: Citibank cards offering a 5% and 1% cash

were born - that things that seem to good to be true usually are, I
Adding to a Power Converter01 Mar 2005 13:45 GMT9
Hi Y'all,
I'm a newbie with this group but a veteran in the RV world.  I have a 1990
30' Cobra by Sierra.  She's old but she's "R Babee".  I was told when I
bought this travel trailer brand new, 15 years back, the cabinet above the
Looking for toilet seat01 Mar 2005 13:21 GMT1
I have an '86 RV with the Thetford Hi/Lo Galaxy toilet.  The hinges on
the seat have broken and I need another seat.  Any help appreciated.
Local dealer says he can't get that seat anymore.
The top part is padded and is ok, it is the part of the seat that one

'84 Itasca Suncruiser- any good?01 Mar 2005 01:43 GMT5
I saw a 1984 Itasca Suncruiser for $6900. No rust, underbody has no
rust, 70,000 miles. Has 350 engine. The engine doesn't look too
accessable so it appears that any engine work would be on the expensive
side. I see a thin layer of oil on the bottom of engine and trans.
Preferred points in Streets & Trips01 Mar 2005 00:46 GMT4
How do I select a point (say an exit on an interstate) that I want my
route to traverse without it including directions to get off the
highway, drive around a bit, and get back on?
All I want to do, is insure that the route goes through a particular
