Enclosing portable gensets28 Mar 2005 18:31 GMT75
Many ask about how to make a portable genset quiet - often asking how
to build an enclosure.  My answer has usually been along the lines of
"if you have to ask, don't try it."
FYI, a confession and a further reason not to try it:
RV Taillight not working28 Mar 2005 17:24 GMT4
I have a 1977 Dodge motorhome. The rear passenger side taillight works
when the headlights come on but the brake light and directional blinker
doesn't work. The two front lights and the drivers side lights work
fine, all functions.  I have replaced the bulbs and the rear light

I got my new BlackBerry Device this week. I'm beta testing it for our

attachments, get on the internet, print, and basically everything I can do
with my laptop. Except, it fits on my belt. So far, I haven't found ...

I have reservations (reserved but not yet paid) on the ferry from

this trip? Is it spectacular and worth the $391 cost for me and my
husband. We've kayaked in Glacier Bay and all around Puget Sound - I've

Alert!!!  Travel is the subject!!27 Mar 2005 19:54 GMT3
We're now in Winterhaven, CA, across the river from Yuma.  Left Ajo
about 0830, arrived here about 1100.  Clear but later got windy.  The
gas gauge didn't move the first 40 miles but once pushing the wind, a
quarter tank disappeared in a hurry.  Road was good, traffic light.  A

Ford E450 vs E35027 Mar 2005 01:18 GMT10
Can anyone give specifics on the actual mechanical differences between the
two chassis' to account for the differences in the GVWR and GCWR?
So far, the two things I have found are the fuel tank size and axle ratio.
I am wondering about the actual frame, suspension parts, springs, ...
