| Oregon speed limit | 03 Apr 2005 19:45 GMT | 6 |
The speed limit posted on much of I-5 through Oregon is 70 MPH, except for "trucks", for which it is 55 MPH. My question: Does anybody actually know whether a motor home with toad counts as a "truck" for speed limit purposes on Oregon highways?

| kissing a toad (or creating a dinghy) | 03 Apr 2005 17:24 GMT | 14 |
It was a dark and stormy night (also cold) when I traded my '98 Saturn SL1 for an '04 Olds Alero GL. Now I'm stuck with the expenses of making the Alero a toad. Kissing it didn't help. <g> I have a base plate with brackets due in next week. Stepson said he

2 stops in the last 20 minutes right out in front of the RV park. Friday night, Easter weekend, heavy traffic to Puerto Penasco; I bet the cops are raking in the cash. Hwy 85 is 65 MPH all the way down from Gila Bend, then it drops to 55-45-35-25 all the way through town

| Best route Idaho Falls to Jackson, WY? | 03 Apr 2005 07:30 GMT | 4 |
Looking at the map, it looks like the most direct route between Idaho Falls into Jackson, WY (and the Grand Teton National Park area) is a combination of State Routes off of US26 to ID33/31, then onto WY22 on into Jackson, WY. The more roundabout route on a more major highway

Can someone recommend a well-located camground for us to take the boat tour to Rainbow Bridge National Monument? We'll be traveling in our 34 ft Class A and would like to camp somewhere close to the boat landing so we can take the earliest morning boat tour offered.

I'm toying with the idea of taking an RV with my wife and son from NH to CA to pick up my other son there (in college) and bring him back. Figuring that we could haul a.s on the way out and take our time through the west on our way back.
