| Best RV type for campground and boondocking use | 22 Apr 2005 03:26 GMT | 15 |
Hi gang, I'm going to be buying an RV, but I'm not sure what would be a "good" type to use for full-time RV camp grounds and boondocking (on public lands). In other words, I'm sure it'd be a great pain to take a 45' motorhome out to do some

What length of water hose do I need to connect to water at most campgrounds? Is 25 feet long enough, or do I need a 50 foot hose?

Well, it's getting HOT in Phoenix, so it's time to start getting ready to roll out. I will roll out for Albuquerque on 1 May and will stay a month before going on up to Gunnison, Co for the Summer. I'm starting to clean out and rearrange the motorhome basement. I've

I've written many times to the local rangers but I can't really get them to answer a couple of questions: Can I get in the Prairie creek RV area with a 25ft RV? The rule says till 24ft.

| Was it Somebody Here? | 21 Apr 2005 03:29 GMT | 8 |
I meant to post this earlier.... About two weekends back we were heading down I-35W between Fort Worth and Hillsboro when I looked to the northbound side and got a quick look at an F350 towing what looked to be a 32-36 ft fifth wheel. And tied on

| Carlsbad the easy way | 21 Apr 2005 02:03 GMT | 18 |
Well we made it to Carlsbad at about 3:40 today. Took the easy way by going up 54 out of Alamogordo to 70 then to 380 to Roswell then south on 285. Based on the feedback here I decided that might be the best and easiest route. Lots of pretty country.

| One more benifit of full timing | 21 Apr 2005 01:39 GMT | 1 |
We're here in Carlsbad and have been since Monday. Our original plan was to spend 3 days here then move on to Texas. There's just too much to do here so we changed our plans. Extended our time in the RV Park and will now be here until Monday.

| ABS light on-Fixed | 20 Apr 2005 23:24 GMT | 17 |
Last week, while on a camping trip in my 1990 Tioga on a Ford E350 chassis, the "rear antilock" light came on and stayed on. Hum I said, this could be expensive. So I went on the Internet to see what I could find out about this problem. I found out that with the light on I would not ...

| Nevada Hwy 376 | 20 Apr 2005 22:40 GMT | 3 |
We are making travel plans and it looks like our route from Battle Mountain NV to Tonopah will be via route 305, 50 and 376. Looking at my old atlas I'm seeing some pretty serious elevations. Have any of you travelers been this route and can give me a thumbs up or down?
