RV Braking - Re-Visited16 Apr 2005 13:04 GMT2
We currently have an air activated brake on our towed.  This system does not
provide a "break-away" safety feature, and although I am by nature cautious,
there remains the possibility of the hitch coming loose, and the towed being
loose.  The SMI system below offers a fix for ...
Campground Near Hampton Virginia16 Apr 2005 03:19 GMT1
I am looking for a decent campground near Hampton Coliseum in Hampton
Virginia to park a TT for a few days while I attend a conference.  Does
anyone know of any nearby?  Proximity is more important than amenities as
long as it is safe and clean.

Last weekend we found unleaded for 2.09 and diesel for 2.12 in Georgia.
Today unleaded of I 24 in Chattanooga, Tennessee was 2.04 at two
stations. The one station had diesel at 2.09. Another station across
from both was still 2.15 for unleaded. Since Tennessee Fuel Taxes are

We've had lots of typical nice Florida weather (not counting last
week's tornado here in Marion County) in which fire ants procreate and
build. It's been several days since spreader and mound application of
Ortho Max Fire Ant killer, and the damn things have not come back....
Power Steering Problem?15 Apr 2005 12:08 GMT8
1999 E350 Ford with the V10 in a 24' motorhome.
When driving straight the steering wheel tends to dart to one side or the
other. It is not real bad but distracting. It feels like the power steering
pump does not like to be centered. The RV just does not like the exact

Tom DeLay's Goose Cooked?14 Apr 2005 19:07 GMT19
Will Tom DeLay be thrown to the wolves,  just because he stuck up for
Terri Shaivo?

Once I forgot to disconnect.  When I returned the battery had died
