Ford V-10 engine problem15 Jun 2005 07:03 GMT4
I have a 2000, 3/4 ton Pick Up with the V-10 engine.  It has had a problem
with engine knock (ping) since it was new.  It now has about 55,000 miles on
it.
I would be interested in hearing from people with similar problems.  So far
Renewing old ties!15 Jun 2005 03:35 GMT2
Just heard from a friend I went through gunnery school with in Denver
in spring of '52.  Lost track of him while in Korea when a letter of
his was returned stamped MIA.  Haven't talked to him in 53 years.
We've had a nice chat and might get together in Quartzsite or Yuma

Guys, I know a billion people have asked the same question about GPS and
Streets and Trips, etc. as well as Fleetwood vs. National RV, et al. I sure
don't want to keep looking up a dead dogs a.s if there is an archive that I
can access to see the previous discussions. Anybody ...
A trip update14 Jun 2005 19:19 GMT24
I've decided to put my travels out on the web, rather than long posts here.
We're up here in Wisconsin at our daughters place and we've been dodging
lightning and pounding rain storms almost daily, well, nightly. I'm getting
tired of being shocked out of a sound sleep by crashing ...
Pet Peeves (laundry)14 Jun 2005 05:51 GMT12
The wet clothes thread got me thinking.
Am I the only one that gets annoyed when they don't tell you how long the
washers take to run and how much dryer time you get for $1.25?

Hi Gang,
First I want to thank all the people who wrote me asking about Tucker.
He's doing very well…. Still a little limp but he's definitely on the
mend. So much better that we did go to the Sheep Dog Trial today… more

Route Advice: Redding, CA to Bozeman, MT in July13 Jun 2005 21:43 GMT7
I would appreciate any advice offered on the best route from Redding, CA
to Bozeman, MT.  "Best" in this context implies fastest, keeping in mind
that one family in our convoy will be pulling a 30' travel trailer with
a 1992 C2500 Suburban (454).  It pulls fine on the level, but ...
Very Strange13 Jun 2005 20:57 GMT60
I just bought an '05 Silvarado 2500 HD to pull a 5th wheel trailer. I
didn't realize it never had a key slot on the passenger door. I can
imagine all kinds of problems here. It has automatic locks, but I can't
figure out why they didn't include key slolts on both doors. Very
