CAT-FISHing09 Jun 2005 14:25 GMT1
Two friends are walking in the jungle. Suddenly a tiger appears in
the distance running toward them. One friend pulls a pair of 'Nikes'
out of his bag and quickly puts them on. With a surprised look, the
other friend says, "You don't really think you can out run that
Get More Horsepower!09 Jun 2005 12:09 GMT4
One of the guys on another group pointed me at this site for getting as
much as an additional 50.3 HP and 73.2 ft/lbs of torque as measured on
a dyno, per the author's claim (no fuel magnets in this jewel) -- And
the best part is that you don't have to buy any thing from some
Dolphin LX09 Jun 2005 12:07 GMT7
We're considering buying a 37' Dolphin LX.
Any bad things to share?
I'm really impressed with the chassis and construction techniques.

Trip Report:  Zion National Park, Canyon de Chelly09 Jun 2005 03:41 GMT1
We had an excellent 8 night RV trip from Las Cruces, NM to Canyon de
Chelly in NE AZ, and Zion NP in SW Utah. Weather was perfect in the high
70s to 90 every day, but 55-60 at night for perfect fireside chats and
comfortable sleeping.
Central Vacuums for RV's09 Jun 2005 02:55 GMT11
A few days ago there was a thread about central vacs for RV's. We've been
looking at these systems for months and the one we settled on, and I just
finished installing yesterday, was the Beam, Model 145 RV Vac. Cost was
$320.00 at a dealer in Stacy, MN. The kit included an 8 foot ...
Ft Wayne, IN - June 7, 200509 Jun 2005 02:48 GMT10
Hi Gang,
I woke up yesterday morning with a start; I remembered that last year
Airstream cut off our water and electric at 7:00am.  I looked and it
was 6:30, I wanted to go back to sleep but I also wanted to shower
Propane Tank in RV09 Jun 2005 00:48 GMT3
I have a 1999 Fleetwood Southwind with a propane tank bolted into a
compartment. When the certification for that tank expires (supposedly, what,
7 years from manufacture), do I have to put in a new one? Does the fact that
it is bolted in affest how it is certified? Does the ...
GPSGate and standby test for b ill09 Jun 2005 00:02 GMT12
Hey bill, I've been fooling with GPSGate and putting the laptop on standby.
GPSGate comes back up without a problem. Once my PCMCIA wireless card could
not get online, but only once. My computer has a serial port so it's not
quite the same as your setup, but the problem doesn't ...

TripTik vs. Streets and Trips08 Jun 2005 19:21 GMT2
OK, maybe a dumb questions for you traveling gypsies out there, but in
planning a trip, I have access to AAA TripTik (maps, places of interest,
etc ) or latest MS Streets and Trips. Which is better? Better defined as
more accurate, fuller information, richer knowledge base, etc.
MS Streets and Trips GPS08 Jun 2005 17:15 GMT95
I picked up S&T with the GPS for our upcomming trip up North and have been
testing it out a bit.  The one question I have is about its accuracy.  I
understand it may be off by 10' or so horizontally, but mine is also off
over 100' in altitude.  Is there a way to calibrate this or ...
Trifocal Stories08 Jun 2005 14:39 GMT19
After 20 years of wearing "cheaters" and taking them off and putting
them on endlessly to read - I finally gave in and am wearing my first
pair of blended trifocals. I am sure you guys can all tell me stories of
trifocals and you. On the trip down from PA - I had to resort to ...
