I wheeled into Gunnison yesterday around noon, minus angina, and had
lunch with my friend Dick.  Afterward we retired, if you'll pardon the
Heater Problem08 Jun 2005 06:22 GMT7
Hi.  I have a tech question for anyone really familiar with heaters.
When on shore power, my heater seems to work reliably (now that I
replaced the power converter, that is!)  So far, so good.
Now, on batteries the heater works for a while, say a few hours, but
Replacement Bed-Cover for Truck-Camper Queen Bed08 Jun 2005 05:06 GMT19
I am trying to find a replacement bedcover for the bed in my truck
camper. I have an S&S truck camper purchased in 2005 with a queen size
mattress. The factory cover seems to be wearing out. Any ideas on where
to get replacements would be greatly appreciated.
Samborees?08 Jun 2005 02:47 GMT6
I've seen the Sams RV trips advertised in their magazine. Something like
$1600 for two people for five days maybe. A couple of meals, five nights
camping maybe and a few tours. Another person would be another $600 + .
I've never been on one but that seems very expensive. So, I'm ...

Air Conditioner Condensation08 Jun 2005 01:54 GMT14
I have always had a bone with the air conditioner condensation.
Seems as though they could have had a collector line that disposed
of the water in a central place, like a drain line that one would be
able to attach a hose to and rout it some where away from the door
Lousy TV reception07 Jun 2005 18:50 GMT21
I have a typical multi-element, directional UHF/VHF/FM TV antenna
(a.k.a. "yagi"-type) which is aimed at the source of the broadcast
signals.
The condo-rules forbid the antenna from being "visible" from the
Info needed on Coronado & Southwind07 Jun 2005 18:46 GMT1
Hi all, Carl here.
I am new to this forum, although not to motorhoming here in the uk.
I am in the process of searching the market for either a Fleetwood
Coronado or Southwind to import to the UK from the US.
Keystone Challenger Leakage Problems07 Jun 2005 18:25 GMT2
Help!  I am writing on behalf of my brother-in-law and his wife who, a few months ago, bought a Keystone Challenger Model 34TLB.  The first time they took it to camp, the slide-out in the bedroom (where the head of the bed actually slides out), leaked.
The leak has happened ...
Allegro Bay07 Jun 2005 17:24 GMT30
We looked at an 04 Allegro Bay today. It's a 37 footer with a huge
Chevy Vortec engine and 5 spd Allison. It's owned by the dealer
personally but still has at least a year of factory warranty on it.
Fit and finish are commendable. Mileage is miniscule. It looks brand

Driving in Los Angeles area07 Jun 2005 14:40 GMT9
Perhaps someone here can provide me with some trip advice.  We travel in a
pickup truck and tow a 24-foot travel trailer.  I've had a fair bit of
experience driving on the U.S. Interstate Highway system and am not
intimidated by heavy traffic or large trucks.  BUT I've never driven ...
PA to FL - 1100 miles - safe at home with camper and tiller07 Jun 2005 06:59 GMT21
Our 1995 Chevy Coachmen Class B performed very well on the trip to PA
and back. We even bought a very nice Troy Bilt Tiller at a yard sale and
brought it back on the hitch carrier. The camper was also loaded to the
gills with home stuff. We were still able to spend a nice night ...
I need your help. Please help.07 Jun 2005 06:08 GMT3
The bracket that holds the windshield wiper motor has broken and the
manufacturer of the motor home doesn't have the replacement part.
I used to own a travel trailer by Fleetwood and all the latches on the
cabinet doors started braking. So I called fleetwood and they didn't
Pack rat?07 Jun 2005 00:27 GMT8
Just spent most of the day cleaning out the engine compartment of the RV.
It seems that something has been having a high time building nests in there.
We just uncovered it yesterday.  Had to pull the dog house on the inside
(class C) to get to everything.  In addition to all of ...
