Friday, June 24: We made it to Pensacola and home today.
As difficult as it was we got up and had the motorhome at the Chevy
Dealer by about 7AM.  The mechanic met us with his handy tester.  He

I'm Back........29 Jun 2005 02:20 GMT16
We are now in Boise, ID and my husband got us hooked into a wireless router
so I can read and use this newsgroup for awhile.  It is fun to see so many
of the same names still saying many of the same things.  lol  We will be
here for a few weeks and then will be in Washington and ...
At The Cabin!28 Jun 2005 21:45 GMT18
Some kind of glitch in the newsgroup server yesterday.  Suddenly every
post after 4:26 PM disappeared or showed up as "expired".
This morning I find there is a gap from 4:26 to 9:41 PM.... no posts
during that time period.  I have 3 newsgroup servers and they all said

First:  No math, please.
Can 2 12V Optima batteries do the same job with an inverter that 4 golf
car 6V batteries can?
What size inverter charger can the 2 optimas support?
Awning Woes28 Jun 2005 17:39 GMT9
Damn hardware on the awning keeps breaking.  The awning is
"Carefree of Colorado".  First the slide lever that toggles
the 'up/down' switch broke, but I had a workaround so kept
on truckin.  Next the screw clamp that holds the slide bar

OT_Differential gearing28 Jun 2005 02:09 GMT19
Hello again,
My neighbor brought his '64 Chev over today to get a count on the

of the wheel. Looks like a 1:3.73 ratio. So, if he wants a higher top end

When I was about 11 years old, I fell in with a disreputable crowd:  Jack London, R.L. Stevenson,
Rudyard Kipling, Robert Service, and of course the arch vagabond himself, Mark Twain.  When I wasn't

Ford F-53 chassis service bulletin27 Jun 2005 19:48 GMT7
I can not find the NG reply telling me about a front end service bulletin
for the Ford F53 MH chassis.
It involved a small stabilizer installation to eliminate a shimmy.
If anyone has that information would you please post it. The dealer says

Ping Will, you asked for it27 Jun 2005 17:26 GMT154
A couple weeks ago you ask for DATA to back up my claim that nylon

then click on Zytel® Product & Properties Guide, and DL PDF file.

Lone Haranguer is a LIAR27 Jun 2005 14:39 GMT29
He is nothing but a LIAR and now has gone on to posting things he
knows are lies. He knows nothing about me or my family. Of course now
that we own a certain RV park, we know plenty about a couple of
individuals in here. Nope, we don't live in a trailer park and never
