Cabelas25 Jun 2005 19:45 GMT25
Well, it is just seven short days until Cabelas opens its new
store down in Buda, TX.  I have been driving by that huge
place for a year now, and I am going to be one of the first
through the front doors when it opens.
Where to find campground info?25 Jun 2005 16:17 GMT30
I was looking at my Colorado DeLorme topo maps and see campsites at are
listed as public.  How do I get more info on these?  Are they first come
first serve?  And how do you find out what kind of campers are allowed?  And
rates and all the other information we need before heading ...
Ping Bob Giddings25 Jun 2005 15:53 GMT9
Bob, are you still in Canuckland?  I just found my Canuckian Phone Card
which still has Canuckian time on it for another month or two. I won't
be able to use it.  Interested?  The price would be near-perfect if you
could use it (perfect would be if you were paid to use it).
I'm in an RV Cark25 Jun 2005 14:00 GMT8
Or an RV Pamp or some other combination. But I also have a confession to
make. The last place was the same. That is, they are both kind of nice
places, with gravel roads, level sites with grass spaces out front, this one
has a concrete pad on each site. But they also have a fire ...
Camping!25 Jun 2005 01:44 GMT1
Now this is camping.
1.  Peace and quiet except for a chipmunk chirping in the woods and an
owl hooting in broad daylight.
2.  The awning is down.
Well off to enoy another new Park!24 Jun 2005 22:49 GMT24
Hey All
Save all the good stuff till we get back (grin)  We are off for a few
days tomorrow to camp with my sister and her family in her new travel
trailer.  We checked this site out and it seemed a very nice place to go.
OT; Should "Gitmo" be closed?24 Jun 2005 21:13 GMT139
It looks to me like the prison camp at Guantanamo,  in Cuba,  has
become more trouble than it's worth,  I think it's going to be shut
down.  It's just a matter of "when",  and an excuse of how to save face
while doing so....
Ping Alan Robinson24 Jun 2005 20:58 GMT11
I asked about this problem some time ago and now need to get it solved.
My Onan Emerald 6500 runs at 63 cycles. Had it tested a long time ago by
Mickey and foolishly decided to not have him adjust it at the time we did
the test.
Camping World censors product reviews???24 Jun 2005 18:46 GMT6
I submitted two reviews on the same day, one postive and one negative. The
positive one made it into the ad for the product, the negative one didn't.
Geeee..... I wonder why they would censor a negative review...??? I wonder
if they have censored other negative reviews? Does this ...
Sparks from Battery Cables?24 Jun 2005 15:55 GMT21
Why did I get sparks from my disconnected trailer battery cables when they
touched my sway bar chain?  The battery is in the garage and the trailer was
hooked to the truck.  Is the truck sending juice to the trailer battery
cables?  Yeah, I'm electrically ignorant, so spell it ...
Power Converter, Battery Charger24 Jun 2005 14:39 GMT2
My trailer has a 35amp Power Converter.  If I understand correctly, the
purpose of the power converter is to convert AC power to DC power.  Is there
more to it than this?
Does the power converter also charge the batteries when the trailer is
GPS Software, Mapsource24 Jun 2005 09:25 GMT1
I've been using Mapsource V6.5, I have no trouble there.
I note that there is a Point of Interest "update" disc available for
about $50.
I would ilke to get this if it in fact loads as an upgrade to my
WAx vs 303 protectant24 Jun 2005 06:25 GMT19
Since using the 303 Aerospace Protectant on the Gel Coat, I
though I'd give you and update.
1- I have confirmed that the traditional waxes contain petroleum and should
not be applied to vinyl decals as they can cause them to become brittle in
Newbie Question: Keystone Reputation24 Jun 2005 03:47 GMT2
I'm looking at a 03 Keystone Cougar 245efs 5th wheel that is  for sale
in my area.
How good is the Keystone name? Is there another manufacturer I should
be looking at.
Post Office job interview24 Jun 2005 02:44 GMT1
A guy goes to the U.  S.  Post Office to apply for a job.
The interviewer asks him, "have you been in the service"?
"Yes" he says.  "I was in Viet Nam for three years"
The interviewer says, "That will give you extra points toward
