New RV Pickup day?08 Jul 2005 15:38 GMT2
We are supposed to pickup the new 5th wheel today at 3 pm.  Only problem is
the weather. It is supposed to be raining cats and dogs here by that time.
As a newbie with a 5th wheel, I wonder if I should postpone the pickup until
tomorrow when the rain abates.

Class A - Exxon Habits08 Jul 2005 12:04 GMT105
Another re-visit to an age old question. I took 18 months out to do
some touring in the US a few years back, and opted for an F-250 and TT.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and I often wish I had gone to a small
Class A and small toad. Out of 17000 miles only 5000 was pulling and

Newbie08 Jul 2005 06:11 GMT4
Hubby and I are considering buying a used Class A and full timing for up
to 2 years, then selling it and settling down somewhere. We are
interested in a 2000 Hurricane. We know this RV is very much entry
level, but we don't want to spend a lot, and our needs are few, just a

I recently put a Hensley on my trailer. I am happy with it but just today I
noticed that one of my jacks was loosening as I am going down the road. In a
very short distance (like 10 miles) it goes from the top line (of the 3)
all the way down about 4-5 inches which causese the ...

More Picture Surprises07 Jul 2005 21:09 GMT8
Well, I've become a total picture addict wallpapering the inside of my
motorhome with hundreds of pictures. Now I have run out of space for more,
but then I found more space too. I am now taping pictures to the backs of
cabinet doors so you only see them when you open the cabinet ...
Interstate Bridge Heights07 Jul 2005 17:42 GMT13
Does anyone know of a source for listings of highway bridge clearances?  We
are making our first camping venture later this month with a new 5th wheel
that is 13' 5'' high.  Our trip will be from the south shore of MA via Rt.
93 (or Rt. 495 to Rt. 93) to New Hampshire.
EU2000i fuel quantity ?07 Jul 2005 17:34 GMT161
Is there a simple way to figure out how much gas is in the EU2000i
tank?
I run it an hour a month to keep the gas current, and buy a new gallon
when it runs out.

Ping, HD in NY07 Jul 2005 15:06 GMT4
Hey Hugh, we're moving your way later this month. Not sure if I have your
"current" email address, but would like to set up time to stop, either on
our way to Nova Scotia or on the way south. Still plan on seeing a lot of
you guys in FL, but would also like to pick your brain on ...
Wherer can I find new molding?07 Jul 2005 13:05 GMT2
After examining my 88 Bounder I found an area on the right rear where
the molding that goes on the right angle edge is coming loose.
The pop rivet heads just pull off.  The only thing holding it on
is the putty.
