Battery Terminal Corrosion and Charger Connectors.27 Jul 2005 04:11 GMT4
I had a Battery charger connected to an old battery for a long time
with the charger turned off and the AC cord unpluged. A few months
later I noticed a flaky white powder that was on one terminal of the
battery spread to the battery charger connecter that was eating into
front end stablizers27 Jul 2005 01:52 GMT6
Just got back from an awesome trip around the Maritime area of Canada.
Before we left I had the front end of our 29 ft Ford Tripe-E Commander
checked and adjusted.
All was fine until we were on Route 4 in NS I think and I experienced a
RV storage27 Jul 2005 00:20 GMT7
We live in Holland. We're about to repurchase our RV. We traveled
around in it through USA for 6 months in 2003, sold it, and now are
being offered to buy it again.
In 2003, some people on an RV group were so thrilled that we came from

No Smoking, No Drinking, No Swearing Family Campground26 Jul 2005 22:13 GMT342
I'm keeping my name anonymous to avoid speculation on which California
campground this refers to on the lottery-sized chance that someone would
recognize me.
I'm thinking of converting my private campground to a G rated facility.
Frame size needed26 Jul 2005 21:30 GMT2
Can anyone tell me the frame size (probably 5 or 6 inches) of a 29'
Jayco Jay Flight TT?  I need to know so I can order the right dual-cam
anti-sway kit for the trailer before I pick it up.  I gather this has
to do with the length of the U-bolts included in the kit.  I have
FLOOD in NEW Travel Trailer !26 Jul 2005 17:54 GMT35
I just bought a new Coachmen Catalina 726 RBS Anniversary Edition 6 weeks
ago and it's in a camping park full time.  First thing I noticed was there
is no electrical or mechanical stop to the slide out.  You press the button
to open the slide out .... and if you do not release it ...
12V LCD TV26 Jul 2005 16:44 GMT8
I have been looking for an LCD TV, in the 15" to 17" range, that I can
use with the 12 volt system in my motor home, preferably without having
to use an inverter. I thought I found one in the Axion ACN6150, which
according to their web page can be used with a 12 volt power source ...

In need of a new filter for my drinking water system, I called the local
Culligan "man".
It went like this:
Me: Do you have a CBF3 filter?

More Map for the footloose from Google Maps26 Jul 2005 02:00 GMT3
Nice new free feature from Google maps, now you can overlay road maps
onto satellite photos to really get a sense of what the terrain is
like. Unfortunately not all areas have complete satellite imagery, but
most of the US lower 48 is pretty well covered. Link:
Hear All About It---26 Jul 2005 01:20 GMT32

I think I'll suggest that Wal-Mart security put bumper stickers on all
the RVs parked in their parking lots.  Think of all the free publicity
for Wal-Mart traveling the highways...  Plus we'll know who the
Electric brakes on Jayco Jay Flight?25 Jul 2005 23:32 GMT11
I'm buying a used 29" Jayco Jay Flight.  The seller is not sure if it
has electric brakes or not.  Jayco's website doesn't say anything about
it.  I seems to me a trailer this large would HAVE to have electric
brakes, but I have no experience with one this size.  So, does anyone
Dometic propane temperature controller25 Jul 2005 21:11 GMT7
My know turns 360 and more with some resistance.   It does not seem to
effect temperature anymore.  I suspect the knob is loose on its shaft or a
connection to the controller is loose.  Any input?
