Smell of new rig25 Jul 2005 20:29 GMT14
When we were on the lot looking at the new rigs the smell was very strong. I
couldn't even walk from the front to the back of the thing without my eyes
burning like fire!
I started thinking about the ride back home after we buy the thing. We are
Weight distributing anti-sway hitch for Jay Flight25 Jul 2005 20:27 GMT4
This will sound crazy, but I just agreed to buy a 2005 29" Jayco Jay
Flight located about 2 days away from home.  I want to buy a weight
distributing hitch and a twin cam anti-sway system so I won't have any
problems (at least in that area) on the 2 day drive home.  I also don't
Alert - Read Your Tires' DOT Numbers25 Jul 2005 19:51 GMT9
http://www.click2houston.com/news/4752504/detail.html is a story that
applies to all of us:
A man's wife was killed and his son critically injured when the tread
seperated from his just-purchased tires and caused his pickup to crash and
Ann Coulter, plagiarist!!!25 Jul 2005 19:23 GMT23
Coulter caught cribbing from conservative magazines
This article was written by John Byrne and researched by Ron Brynaert.
A column penned by the doyenne of right-wing rhetoric Ann Coulter has
come under fire for alleged plagiarism, RAW STORY has learned.
Newbie question; 'Fridge on while moving25 Jul 2005 18:55 GMT32
I have only scanned the posts back to abt May 2005, finding but one or two
oblique references to this,,, so:
According to the manual the 'fridge shouldn't be on gas while moving (I'm
guessing in case the flame goes out), and if the alternator in the 5er's
how to manhandle heavy genset25 Jul 2005 16:52 GMT21
Our son is giving serious thought to purchasing a quiet genset for his
TT.  The hard part is to decide which size, power and weight.
Most likely the 2k Honda's won't handle the A.C.  The latest Yamaha
rated for 2.4k likely could handle the starting current need of the
Battery Problems With House Batteries25 Jul 2005 14:41 GMT9
Good Day all.  I have lurked here for a while, but do not post.
I have a 2002 Monaco Diplomat that has 4 - 6 volt house batteries.  My two
slideouts and my awning (12 volt) are very slow to operate.  Twice, I have
had to push in on my large slideout to get it to go in.
A new appriciation for casinos25 Jul 2005 02:32 GMT54
I've never really cared much for casinos. I'm not a casino kind of guy, but
I'm gaining a new appreciation for them. I'm finding that most, not all, but
most have some kind of RV park as part of the casino complex. In most cases
the RV park is far better than anything in the area ...
Hot Weather25 Jul 2005 02:21 GMT6
This would be a good time to make sure you have spare fuel for the gen.
If power goes off you will need it to stay cool.

I'm Back !!!24 Jul 2005 21:43 GMT48
I've been off the list for about two years. My ISP dropped usegroups
and I just now found out how to get to the group through Google.
I see lot's of familiar names still posting, and quite a few news ones
too. But still the same ole group - lots of p***ing contests - and
TV in front safe?24 Jul 2005 19:33 GMT19
I'm sure y'all will be sick of me asking so many questions very soon. But, I
have so many and they seem to get answered here:)
There is a tv in a box in the front of the rv. It sits right above the
driver's and passenger's heads. Is this thing really secure in there? I'm

News article - Clog Free TP 24 Jul 2005 06:15 GMT5
No kidding, a company actually produces this stuff and thinks that it will
sell. I find it humorous that a company doesn't realize that any brand will
do. Even more humorous are the top two stories in the Related Stories side
bar.
Tyvek without printing on it!24 Jul 2005 05:29 GMT1
Finally found a source of Tyvek without the advertising all over it.
You know the printing that makes it look like a NASCAR back ground.
Tyvek is some really amazing stuff, water proof yet breathable, very strong
yet very light weight. It is the perfect material for tents, tarps ,and ...
Ping: LZ24 Jul 2005 00:31 GMT5
Thanks for pointing out the news.execonline thing. Here's something
interesting, though.  I have absolutely no problems with it when using
the tortoise-quick SBC land-line. That's the line I used to set it up.
I was checking the cell phone connections to make sure everything was
