On the Road Again06 Sep 2005 21:55 GMT7
Everything is on board except the morning grooming articles, us and
little Kellie. I won't be on the NG as I don't have night minutes on the
cell phone. (We preferred to keep our old Single Rate plan that gives us
more towers than the America's Choice without roaming or LD from ...
I'm on vacation06 Sep 2005 21:55 GMT33
I've seen here, and on the Escapees Forums where people have asked what full
timers do for vacations. I think I've found one example.
In the last year we've moved the rig from one place to another 83 times. We
are now in a Passport America park just outside of Bangor, ME. A very ...
Cape Cod Baseball League Vacation 200606 Sep 2005 16:26 GMT14
I want to take my family to Cape Cod next year.
My first thought is rent an RV for the 2 weeks; but if hotels are the better
way to go, just say so.  One things for sure, I'm not trailering from
California to Cape Cod and using my own trailer; we'll fly thank you very

The fork is stuck and the Fat Lady sung06 Sep 2005 05:58 GMT8
It's 5 am and I'm afraid I'm done.  I'm just bone-weary, that kind of
tiredness I felt at the end of my father's funeral after the several
days of frantic activities had held off the sadness and fatigue.
I spent a good deal of time on the phone today and I'm still

Dear Mr. Bush:
Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina
and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted.
Niave and need help06 Sep 2005 00:36 GMT60
This last weekend we went to a RV show and on the way home stopped by
an RV lot we had never visited before.  My wife and I have a 26ft
Wilderness travel trailer and a Chevy Silverado 1500.  We've been
dreaming about a fifth wheel and from time to time go out and look at

Katrina- an offer05 Sep 2005 18:18 GMT26
We are going to open our house to a refugee family.  While we have
made this decision we are going to make sure they are compatable with
us since they could be with us for a year or more------no smoking, no
pets.

So- are you getting much rain there yet? How about wind?
I love the "spaghetti models" of Katrina's projected path.

month stay at Tillamook, OR05 Sep 2005 16:13 GMT1
I am thinking about finding a place to leave my 32 foot travel trailer
near Tillamook so I can go there on weekends and fish. I don't want to
tow my trailer down every weekend.  Anyone have an idea where I could
find a low monthly rate to leave the trailer hooked up? Thanks.

Awning repair?05 Sep 2005 10:00 GMT11
Last week I went to roll up my awning and it wouldn't roll up by itself as
it had in the past.  I had to hand roll it up to a locked position which
was easy enough but I sure like it the way it was.
I'm guessing there's a spring that came undone. Anyone know if this kind of
