Unique Experience02 Sep 2005 22:43 GMT30
A week ago on Sunday I did something that I don't think I've done in a
good 10 years.  I drove all the way to Chattanooga on I-75 on cruise
control!!  I did the same thing last Sunday and again today.  I was
able to do that because the interstate has been practically abandoned.

Houston cancelling Conventions02 Sep 2005 19:46 GMT2
Houston said they are canceling all Conventions for awhile so they can
use the convention center for hurricane victims. Apparently the city
told the country to "Come on and sue us" if they are upset over having
their convention cancelled.
Campground Owner's Woes02 Sep 2005 19:28 GMT19
I wouldn't want to be a campground owner right now.
I called Knoebels Groves in PA to see if they had any cancellations so
that we might get a site closer to the amusement park.  To my
surprise, they had almost any site for the taking.  It's only Tuesday
Bush seizes chance to make dirty fuel02 Sep 2005 19:04 GMT74
Bush just decided - in the name of Hurricane Katrina - to allow oil
companies to make dirty fuel. Wonder if that order will ever be
re-tracted. Got to take care of his oil buddies.
Now we can all drive our campers more and make the air dirtier. What a

Fleetwood RV -- Why Not To Buy02 Sep 2005 16:17 GMT6
Anyone who has read this newsgroup for any length of time knows
Fleetwood does not have a reputation for building solid units.  In the
past I have defended Fleetwood as being a good value for the weekend
camper and I have also talked about how we have enjoyed our 2001 Mallard

Fill up your RV tank today.02 Sep 2005 12:30 GMT29
If you're going a trip for the holiday weekend, you might want to fill
up your RV tank today. I heard that gas prices may go up more than 25
cents per gallon by the end of the week due to the oil platforms that
were shut down because of Hurricane Katrina. Let's see at 25 cents ...
