Mileage - was gear ratios01 Nov 2005 00:05 GMT23
I see where Brian Elfert <belfert@visi.com> contributed:
>I don't understand why my mileage is so bad pulling an 8,000lb travel

Yukon XL Denali: Not Actual Mileage31 Oct 2005 14:55 GMT15
I just bought a second-hand 2002 Yukon XL Denali that was reported, to
me, to have 24,800 miles at the time of purchase.  I've since been put
on about 200 miles and my wife and I really like the truck.
The problem is that when I went to fill up for the first time, I

I have a 13x50' enclosed storage area for my 38' Adventurer.  It has
15 amp service inside so I can plug in the service plug and at least
keep the batteries topped.  Any suggestions on what else I might do,
like keep a light bulb on to deal with humidity?  SHould I put down

At the dealership everything worked fine. However the first night we
stayed in it the heater stopped blowing hot air. It was still blowing
Suburban Water Heater Element.31 Oct 2005 02:15 GMT8
Hello Rvers: I want to replace the heater element on my Suburban Water
Heater (1996). It looks like I need a very thin walled large socketto
do the job as the metal flashing is very close to the fitting. The
flashing does seem to be bendable enough to get any other tool in there

New Camping Web Site30 Oct 2005 17:06 GMT4
OK, so this is a screwball time of year to be starting a website about
an RV and it's travels. But that's what we did.
After many years with our old trailer... a Viking 166 pop up, we
upgraded to a 2000 Kiwi 21c. And with the new trailer, I decided that I
