Anyone have a good use for old 2 liter bottles?21 Oct 2005 02:09 GMT83
Maybe this has already been addressed here but I have been trying to
come up with good uses for two liter plastic bottles for years. If any
of you have a good idea about this I would appreciate hearing about it.
Just some of the things I do with them:
Surprise from Norcold20 Oct 2005 23:32 GMT85
Got back from church yesterday and pulled up the driveway.
Got out and found a piece of white plastic sitting in the
driveway right in front of where we park the Buick. Looked
all over the bottom plastic parts on it and found nothing.
Lake Seminole and another storm20 Oct 2005 19:50 GMT5
Reverse question from what's been being asked. Should we stay put?
We have reservations at Eastbank on Lake Seminole for Friday. Are we apt
to be driving into more headaches than it's worth? Is fuel apt to be a
problem for any length of time?
Extensions for stabilizing  jacks 20 Oct 2005 16:19 GMT3
I had the axles flipped on my Frontier 2405 travel trailer that raised it
about 8 inches more off the ground, which puts the scissor stabilizing jacks
a long way off the ground.  Are there extensions that can be attached to the
jack to take up some of the distance when parked but ...
Appreciate suggestions for hurricane evacuation20 Oct 2005 06:52 GMT74
We're in Florida, preparing to evacuate due to Hurricane Wilma. We've
decided to rent a large RV, and would appreciate any advice you're
willing to offer about rental plus campgrounds. I'd supply more
information but it seems best to answer your questions. We're grateful

Gas prices.19 Oct 2005 22:21 GMT24
The word from my friend in Enid, OK is that gas is $2.21 this morning.
It was down to $2.19 over the weekend.
Diesel is $3.09
Maybe there will be less stink and rattle in the ole campground this winter.
Edmonton Street Numbers19 Oct 2005 06:03 GMT10
I ran across a thread in this newsgroup (rec.outdoors.rv-travel) on how
Edmonton numbers its streets.
There was at least one point in the discussion that was never corrected,
so I thought I would post now, in case some of those that participated

Slide out roof leak fix19 Oct 2005 02:36 GMT7
I asked the question a couple of weeks ago regarding fiberglass
delamination.
Upon the advice of those here, I climbed up on top of the 5th wheel
this weekend to see if there was a leak anywhere.  Indeed, there was!
Honda Generator in MH18 Oct 2005 22:21 GMT8
I recall reading that the quiet Honda's (eu1000, etc) shouldn't be used to
replace an Onan.  There were fuel or cooling issues.  I Googled, but
couldn't find the thread. Can someone help refresh my memory (at least on
the one topic <VBG>)
Most fun car route: California to New Jersey?18 Oct 2005 17:22 GMT10
So, if I had to drive from San Francisco to New Jersey in mid-November, what
are my route choices and why one over the other?
Somehow I will have to balance getting there in a hurry with enjoying the
trip.
the Nazis were RIGHT in Teledo18 Oct 2005 15:48 GMT2
