Cramped Campgrounds on the East Coast?15 Oct 2005 17:36 GMT5
Here's the situation, and a question:
I've been thinking about replacing my rig with something smaller,
in preparation for a tour of the east coast.
I've been cruising through central California, and find the State
TRIAD-UTRAD Converter15 Oct 2005 13:03 GMT1
We've got an RV with a Triad-Utrad model TU 730-2.  Does anybody have
any info on   the charging characteristics?  Particularly the tail-off
characteristics.  I think it's frying the battery.

a towing question, an air shock question15 Oct 2005 09:45 GMT6
I plan to tow my boat 800 mi in the next few months.  (CA-UT)  If I
set the equalizer bars and it's still sagging a little, can't I just
add more air to the air shocks and lift the rear of the tow vehicle?

Need Wifi hellp!!!!!15 Oct 2005 04:31 GMT32
I lent my laptop to a neightbor's out of town guest and he (with my
permission) added more memory and a wifi card.  When he left town, he
returned the laptop, tried to show me how to use the wifi (which went
in one ear and zoomed through the other).  I've been trying to figure

It will have voice direction, but it's text to voice, not human type,
improved commands, and auto zoom when you're using GPS to travel, additional
On the road15 Oct 2005 02:21 GMT15
Well, we're sitting here in Old Fort, NC at a PA park. Just outside of
Asheville, we have seen way fewer RVs on the road than previous years. Day
before yesterday, on I95 we saw 2 MHs all day and no trailers!
This place is a slum on a beautiful stream in the woods, but at $11 a ...
Mississippi15 Oct 2005 02:20 GMT6
We got to Twiltly Branch campground today, just 75 miles north of the
Gulf. Unblievable damage here. Roofs stripped of shingles, trees torn up
by their roots. It's just plain shocking to think of the magnitude of
the damage done by Katrina. I'm amazed that, given the time now to
I'm Back15 Oct 2005 00:39 GMT42
I made it back home on Sunday night.  I left bill and George Leroi
Tyrebyter on a mesa in the Needles overlook area of the Canyon Lands in
Utah.  I have no idea where they were headed, I don't think they knew
either.
Reese Dual Cam vs. Equal-i-zer hitch14 Oct 2005 14:24 GMT15
Opinions on both would be appreciated.  I'm leaning toward the
Equal-i-zer, just because I've seen how much my neighbor like it, but
don't know how it compares with the Dual Cam.
Ouray Colorado Trip14 Oct 2005 14:10 GMT10
We're planning a trip to the Ouray Colorado area and would like some
suggestions on where to stay - preferably in a park/campground with full or
partial hookups.
This will be a base camp for local sightseeing and 4x4'ing.
Re: Minnesota Mandates Biodiesel Fuel Usage14 Oct 2005 14:02 GMT2
Something to make the price of diesel higher in the state.
When their tax dollars decrease because no trucks will buy diesel in the
state unless they have to, they might re-think their idea.
Need advice on selling14 Oct 2005 13:55 GMT14
I've been trying to sell my fifth wheel camper locally for over a month,
in several papers, on a University newsgroup, etc. I have had one bite.
I think I need to go national with this?
Can someone suggest some websites or methods for me to get this out to
Winter Gathering Clerbrook RV Resort14 Oct 2005 12:47 GMT44
Scratch any plans of seeing Carolyn and I at Clerbrook this winter. I
just tried to reserve February 10-15. They honor NO memberships. Daily
rate is $31 per day. I've never paid that much, and will give up RVing
before I do.

victims if anyone wants to see what they ar5e getting from the

Modified Passenger Seat in Class C14 Oct 2005 01:19 GMT23
There are a couple of things to admire about a Class A motorhome.
One is the great bay window up front.  The other is the
economical way that the copilot's chair usually swivels around to
face the living room, and becomes part of your living area.
