Electric-----12volt question03 Dec 2005 03:00 GMT5
Twice recently I have returned to our MH to find NO 12volts. Really,
it is as if the master 12volt switch has been thrown. The 12volts
return as soon as I disconnect shore power and reconnect.
The only thing I can think of would be something in the converter.
DIY - Replacing Toilet03 Dec 2005 01:39 GMT11
Some of you may remember my questions about a leaking toilet bowl
seal...
At first the water would not stay long in the bottom of the toilet
bowl. On the next trip, I noticed water under the foot pedals, too. As

i researched various toilet types for my RV, and decided on the
composting ecolet.  i've since read a lot of stories and concerns about
these toilets, and wanted to write this post about my experiences
having one.  basically, this is just FYI if you were ever considering
Golf cart batteries02 Dec 2005 20:50 GMT15
(This is On Topic, because I use the cart in my home park.)
I have a Club Car electric cart.  It uses 6 8V batteries;  when I got the
cart, the almost-new Trojans were dry.  Damn.  I took them to a battery shop
and had them slow charged, to at least get me going.  That was a year ...

Anybody have experience with a Lance 915 truck camper in a Dodge dually
longbed ?
I have a 2005 Dodge dually diesel that I want to see how that Lance 915
camper will fit and how it performs in this truck.  I plan to pull a
pismo beach state park01 Dec 2005 21:29 GMT4
PBSP has two campgrounds.  North Park and Oceano.  Oceano is not the same as
Oceano Dunes!
Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the two campgrounds at Pismo Beach
State Park?

Ford Trucks - before and after 200301 Dec 2005 20:25 GMT39
2003 seems to have been a pivot point for Ford Trucks.  When I bought mine I
chose the older style with the 7.3 liter PSD.  With that I got leaf springs
in the front.  I've always hated the ride off road.  But it was a real
pleasure to drive on the pavement.
Q's about Street Atlas 200601 Dec 2005 18:43 GMT57
I'm looking at Street Atlas 2006 Plus description, and I am considering
buying it.
This is a Big Thing because I am one of the curmudgeons who, while respecting
Mr. Delorme's decision to buck the tide and the market and implement a user
Any working-in-your-RVers here?01 Dec 2005 16:47 GMT1
Hey folks, anybody living/working the good life outside of the concrete
dungeon?
A few questions:
1. Are DSL hookups to be found anywhere at RV resorts, campsites, etc?
Flo-Jet pump01 Dec 2005 16:20 GMT26
Has anyone had one of these pumps with a leaky check-valve?  Mine "burps"
(motor runs for a very short period) about once every two hours or so.  I've
gone over the whole rig looking for any leaks, can't find a single damp spot
around any of the plumbing or in the pan under the ...
