Popup Trailer - need for sway bar06 Jan 2006 01:45 GMT18
I own a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 (1/2 ton)  pickup with 2WD, short box, extended
cab and 5.3L V8, with tow package.  I'm considering towing a popup trailer
such as a Fleetwood Destiny Sea Pine. This trailer has a GVW of 2500 pounds
and tongue weight of 250 pounds.

You can also get a range of dates.
Another trip update04 Jan 2006 23:44 GMT4
This one is the first leg of my 2005 trip, starting in Florence, AZ. The
narrative page is not done the way I'd like it to be. I just copied the one
I put up on the group in May, so I'll "fix" it later.

Back-up Beeper?04 Jan 2006 16:51 GMT15
Is it a big deal to get a back -up beeper for the fiver?  Can you get them
that you can switch off in the truck, eg if arriving home at night  and the
neighbours will  want to kill you?  Sometimes I worry about what is back
there at campgrounds.  I check first, then get in the truck ...

12 volt wireless switch04 Jan 2006 03:55 GMT10
OK, I am getting old and lazy.
I have a 12 volt light located above my bed in the MH.   In order to turn it
on I have to stand on top of the bed.  Not very convenient.
I would like to buy or procure a remote control that would activate a

Lost a friend today04 Jan 2006 01:27 GMT13
We had to have Sampson, our older sibe, put down this morning.  He has
been really going downhill the last six months.  We knew it was just a
matter of time, but I think the stress of the fire just made things
happen a little sooner.  We have a very good vet and he came to the
Chevy/Dodge04 Jan 2006 00:18 GMT33
We went for a drive today with friends from Michigan who happened to be
here in Lake Wales. They pull a Travel Supreme with a Dodge diesel
dually. About 10 miles into the trip, as we were taking off form a red
light, he looked a little baffled and asked me if our truck is a ...

Thought you would enjoy this...  While watching NYC news on CH 4 I
heard this.  It seems there was an accident between a horse drawn
carriage and a car ( the carriage actually ended up almost on top of the
car ).  Anyway while reporting it the reporter said that the horse "was ...
Trailer beds ?03 Jan 2006 21:55 GMT4
Am looking for the shortest trailer available that has
a permanent full bed rather than one that has to be
folded up and down when used.
Any suggestions ?
Florida Gulf side favorites03 Jan 2006 14:28 GMT11
I'm looking for input on recommendations for good campgrounds on or near the
Gulf in Central or South Central Florida. The State parks I checked seemed
to be booked every weekend but pretty empty during the week. I am hoping to
find pull thru sites as I am pulling a trailer. ...
GULLY WASHER RAIN IN THE WEST!03 Jan 2006 14:26 GMT20
It's raining on the West Coast. From Blaine, Wa on the
northern US border down to San Luis Obispo, Ca, it is
raining. And it is going to keep raining thru Saturday and
in some areas longer.

I've found a better glue than the rubber cement to be that stuff they
put in stickypad mouse traps.  Dissolve some in acetone or whatever
and paint it on.  It remains sticky forever, giving you plenty of time
