I own a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 (1/2 ton) pickup with 2WD, short box, extended cab and 5.3L V8, with tow package. I'm considering towing a popup trailer such as a Fleetwood Destiny Sea Pine. This trailer has a GVW of 2500 pounds and tongue weight of 250 pounds.
