We are looking at travelling through the U.S. for 12 months. Does
anyone have any ideas on whether to buy an RV and then re-sell it or
to rent the whole time. What are the negatives in buying and
re-selling?

South, thru Lake City to Silverton. From there US 550 South to Durango, then
US 160 West to Cortez and on down to Teec Nos Pos.
